Ketch's 10 Thoughts From The Weekend ("F*** Texas and all of its money.")

Apparently CDC is ZFG for "Women's or Men's Cross County" - no schollies before or after the capital infusion. Might cost us a Director's Cup.

And we increased "Women's Rowing" by 40 scholarships - WTF? How many girls do they stuff in those boats?

Ok I'm good with "Women's Beach Volleyball" going from 6 to 19 as long as we recruited talented "talent".
I would imagine the cross country schollies will be inherently included in TF... lots of overlap.

Not really buying tires were kicked. He hired the same guy he was going to hire 3 years ago. The photo last Sunday when it was announced Texas v Xavier said it all - and I posted it at the time - the deal was already done.
Would have been awkward if Texas won that game

best female comics in no particular order (even though you equivocate on the definition of "best" every week):

tig notaro
sykes
taylor tomlinson
joan
sarah silverman
phyllis diller
roseanne (if by "best" you mean "most important," which you do like 40% of the time)
ellen (see above)
poundstone
nikki glaser

you can swap in maria bamford for poundstone if you like

Isn’t the Brooks love more related to his Body Fat Percentage being sub 20% and his tracked speed? They haven’t gone pads yet. I don’t think it’s an indictment on others and more so a surprise that’s he’s that big and athletic

The excitement is. for as lot of reasons. He's impressed behind the scenes.

10. Whitney Cummings- kind of a naughty girl but I like her style.
9. Sarah Silverman- solid body of work.
8. Nikki Glaser-Nikki gets in on the strength of the Brady roast alone. She also makes my groin feel weird.
7. Melissa McCarthy- kind of a female Chris Farley
6. Amy Poehler- always solid. Always sarcastic.
5. Kristen Wiig- fantastic comedic actress in feature length stuff.
4. Tiny Fey- great writer and sketch comedy
3. Gilda Radner- have to respect her for hanging with that original SNL crew.
2. Lucille Ball- titan of comedy. She was Oprah before there was Oprah success wise.
1. Joan Rivers- My First Lady of comedy. Always on. She would peobably still be crushing it had she not let the cat out of the bag on Big Mike.
This is a stand up comedy list. Yours is a comedians list.

I talked to a nice group of Tiger fans on Friday night. They said they thought they were good, but might have pitching depth problems. They were right.

Sean Miller is not the right answer to any question I ever asked. Forget about men's basketball even trying to be elite .

what is elite in your mind?

what NIL advantages?
Perhaps I should have said scholarships - as you said the following.

The topic of choice with several sources was Chris Del Conte's recent announcement that Texas Athletics was adding another 200 scholarship athletes to its roster at a cost of more than an additional $9+ million to the athletic department for the year.

But it is nonetheless a monetary advantage over virtually all other programs. Which would seem to give Miller a competitive advantage in recruiting against the competition.

NIL isn;'t the same thing as the scholarship advantage.

CDC loves watching rowing envy? I’ve got nothing.
Rowing looks really cool.
The Egyptians had rowing competitions.
The sport became popular at the most prestigious universities in the world during the 17th and 18th century.
We’re Texas. Prestige is what we do.

I tend to agree. Which photo are you regerring to though? Sorry. I truly have no idea. I found his post game interview a little odd. It was like he knew that if he won, the job was his. They asked him about the next game and his comment was something along the lines of “who cares. This win was all that matters.”

Did Sommore get considered?
Interesting note, apparently she's Nia Long's sister.
