This was great for this week's game šŸ¤£

Re: #3:

I want to believe this, but reading the pre OU thoughts last year is coming back to me. I don't remember the exact words, or whether you said Texas would win by double digits, but I remember a very confident stance and it didn't work out like that at all.

So, I am going to remain skeptical about this week.

30 year season ticket in Sec. 3....Junior year in 63... Best teams in those 60 year IMHO are 63/69/05 and this one may top them all..It's a real pleasure to have been able to watch our "horns" through "Thick & Thin".. Looking forward to another 15 years of Longhorn Excellence in all sports...

Wrong. It was a disciplinary benching. Saban said so at the time.
No it wasn't. In fact, Saban praised the way Milroe handled himself, bring supportive of the other 2 QBs while he sat. You don't praise someone for acting right during a disciplinary suspension. They're expected to act right.

Geoff, how's Robert "Bobby" Burton doing?

Let's go ahead and get the elephant out of the room. I'm going to call you a name. Geo, you are a Geo Washington.

And lastly, a source of mine told me that last Saturday, Colorado State's Troy Horton heard a Hoot!!!
a. I don't care.

b. Ok?

c.

I donā€™t think our speed has Michigan worried. They have seen it a bunch the past 4 years with OSU and keep hitting them in the mouth until they give.

They will try the same against us this year. Our defense better come ready to be a wall and stand up.

Last year Michigan had the ability to hit the deep pass when needed. I donā€™t remember their intermediate passing game being that strong.
They were very, very good at quarterback. They aren't any more.

So, you pick one of the only times I've been wrong in a big game instead of all the times I've been right.

Seems fair. ;)

I think the top 3 last year were better but I can't agree with you that the group was as deeply talented. Casey Cain was our number 4/5 a year ago.
Johntay Cook was the No.4 a year ago. Deandre Moore was the back-up slot.

Cain and Neyor were 6 and 7.

You may be right by the end of the season, but Cain was the first one of the 2nd string wideouts in the game in Tuscaloosa. Moore didn't get a single snap on offense.

This isn't last year's Michigan team. Not nearly as talented, especially on offense.

Their defense is still solid, but they aren't scaring anyone with that offense.
But those first two wins against OSU is more like this years Michigan team. Didnā€™t affect them those years

The 64 team belongs there as well. Only loss was to Arkansas, who ended up No.1, when we went for 2 at the end of the game after driving the length of the field. That 64 team then beat No.1 Alabama with Joe Namath at QB in the Orange Bowl.

Through 2 games last season, these were the game reps:

Mitchell: 126
Worthy: 116
Whittington: 74
Cook: 15
Cain: 12
Moore: 10
Neyor: 6

A guy that just went for 121 yards for Nebraska couldn't get on the field.

Yes, and outclassed a defending national champion that still had a lot of really good players, but had a quarterback making his second career start.
I think I understood that in the inverse. Michigan would be Texas and Texas would be OSU.

Apologies if someone has already posted this, but has anyone seen this actually pulled off in a game? šŸ¤˜šŸ˜šŸ¤˜

You don't remember me picking Texas to beat Alabama by double figures when it had never happened under Saban?
It's like Mack used to say...The only big games are the ones you lose. šŸ˜
