... I'm not sure I'm ever going to completely understand Sarkisian not using Silas Bolden more in the passing game throughout the season. Twenty-nine targets all season? In the last five games with the offense struggling in four of them, Bolden received four total targets. He caught all of them.

Glad someone finally said it. Have been thinking about this the last half of the season. His speed kills.

Also B/S Terry gets canned midseason if he starts conference play 0-8 with that 8th loss being to Beard. Really looks like the next winnable game is the 10th conference game at home v. Arkansas

100% on Sark needing better talent. We can be mad all we want to about the Cotton Bowl, we can say that Sark didn’t do enough or Quinn didn’t play well enough.

Compare the Texas RB and WR room to Ohio State’s. Chip and Sark and pretty close as play callers IMO so that’s a wash…

Yet this game was 14-14 and then one yard away from 21-21.

I’ll always value homegrown talent but championships will be won in the portal for those schools you listed in tier 2.

lol at Guilbeau and the draft. I mean, come on. Guy was easily the weakest of the starting 5 in the backfield and just can’t cover, period. He’s lucky we faced many a mediocre Qb this year.

Arch- I have to admit to having the go with Arch for the future when Q went down. And in hindsight, you can see the rationale and it turns out we may been in the same spot. I don’t really fault Sark for riding with Q. Tough choices. Had we not made the semifinal / playoff, we’d have blown many other players shot setting up the future. Great analogy on Mock / Vince.

Impossible to know. Might need some serious tampering.

From my understanding and I'm not saying there aren't ways around it, but they shouldn't be allowed to contact players that aren't in the portal. So theoretically they couldn't offer them anything, having said that it happens still

How would we rank the SEC right now headed into next year based on where things currently stand with portal and NFL draft stuff? I would think Texas is the favorite, no? Georgia is losing a ton and Gunnar Stockton doesn't scare anyone.

3. Alabama?
4. LSU?
5. Florida?

Tennesse is losing a lot, Ole Miss is losing a lot and breaking in a new QB, A&M is losing a lot on defense. Seems pretty wide open.

2 matches I would have in my top 10 -

1) HBK v Triple H Summerslam 2002 when I was legit worried HBK would end up paralyzed because of his back issues

2) Mankind winning the title on Raw when WCW gave away the ending. It actually made me switch channels and it was awesome.

Also, I asked it as a B/s, but I will reiterate…I think Sark really missed Paul Chryst. I don’t think it’s a coincidence our 2nd half offense and red zone offense was the best of Sark’s tenure the 1 year Chryst was here.

I think the Chryst grits are overcooked.

Posted this in another thread, but even if Cam comes back, I think the biggest concern of mine next year is o-line depth. The starters take a step back for sure, but I don’t think it’s massive and it’s still a good line. A few injuries though… Man there’s some very unproven dudes that you probably don’t want to play. Not every back up is a Goosby
