We get it Brad McCoy.
Hahahah. You say that like it’s something witty or even derogatory.
Really good guy by the way. He and Colt and Jordan spoke at Austin stone a few years back one night. You could take a page.

I'm not saying it has to be 59-3.Agree on the big picture.
But replacing all of its early season good content with 59-3 buy games is not a result anyone should want. And that includes the money people.

How awesome would it be for Michael Dell to start caring about football, even for just one year?
I agree this past season was great for college football. Part of that is a novelty which will wear off in time. Another part of it belongs to a process which is still unfolding and whose long-term results won't be known for some time to come. The sport is soaring.

I think there are some legitimate reasons for concern re: the long-term picture.
No.Are the NFL playoffs or March Madness a novelty that wears off?

We've been able to convince about 1600 of y'all, mostly OB'ers to join us, I've laid a complete egg with the billionaires.Make it happen boss
Gunnar beat us, and he was not helped by his receivers in the loss to OSU. I think Georgia is ahead of us until we knock 'em off. Fortunately, we get the chance to do so in Athens next year. How would we rank the SEC right now headed into next year based on where things currently stand with portal and NFL draft stuff? I would think Texas is the favorite, no? Georgia is losing a ton and Gunnar Stockton doesn't scare anyone.
1. Texas
2. Georgia
3. Alabama?
4. LSU?
5. Florida?
Tennesse is losing a lot, Ole Miss is losing a lot and breaking in a new QB, A&M is losing a lot on defense. Seems pretty wide open.
He's just a guy. UGA didn't win that game because of Gunnar Stockton. Texas lost it because Ewers couldn't be better than Stockton.Gunnar beat us, and he was not helped by his receivers in the loss to OSU. I think Georgia is ahead of us until we knock 'em off. I accept that.I still blame you for saying pre-game Auburn was going to have a memorable moment. 2 easy FGs missed was the game. Sure Ewers could have thrown for 400 yards and 4 tds but he still put the team in a winning position.
I kid, I kid. This team never played a complete/great game against even an average team. They could just over power sub par teams. Anyone with more than a pulse was a nail biter. I also felt it was across the board issue. Passing game, running game, blocking/penalties along OL, missed field goals. Take your pick. Most games was multiple, if not all of those issues. Defense held them in games they should have lost.I accept that.

Nothing haunts long term like the 2010 Rose Bowl against Alabama. However, I never had huge regret about the 2001 Big 12 Championship game. Texas would likely have been destroyed by Miami anyway. And while last Friday’s game does haunt, it does so because it was right there for the taking and it feels like OSU’s win was cheap. Texas gave the game away. But even if Texas had scored on 1st and 1 or any of the subsequent downs, could they have kept OSU from driving down the field and scoring before the end of regulation? If so, could they have beaten OSU in OT? Maybe. But who knows? They failed against Georgia in OT and pulled it out against ASU by the skin of their teeth.this isn’t a game/season that will continue to haunt like the National Championship against Bama. It does’t deserve the emotional anguish or regret the Big 12 Championship; Simms over Applewhite cluster that cost us another.
