you are the king of the multi post reply...not remotely random...lol

The random shout out.
It’s not conference, it’s first game against the likely defending national champion. It’s not a game Texas runs from. And, this year especially, with a win setting the table.I'd cancel the Ohio State game. A loss really eliminates some wiggle room.
And placekicker.I hate to say it - but it seems like we need like 5-6 absolute impact players for next year to be able to make a serious run - not sure I see it
1-2 wideouts
Running back
Two offensive lineman
Defensive tackle
Basically: B/S Sark is stretched too thin and needs to bring in someone to take something off his plate.
Again, I have no problem with them getting paid. I just sorta thought the market would equilize where college players wouldn’t get paid more than NFL rookie players. Would love to see a comparison analysis of average pay by position for college players versus NFL rookies. What's happening right now is indication that these guys should have been getting paid for a long time. The schools are telling them what their values are.
a. No chance.Any chance Sark would hire an OC, someone that can assist and perhaps even take over play calling? These Red Zone issues are frustrating.
Mac 1976 Grad here....Anderson was our rival and they always kicked our asses.
Great column!
Cheers!
Syracuse won 10 games this season, for what it’s worth, and, have you seen who the Horns play in weeks 2, 3, and 4? Travesty of a sham of a farce opponents and season-ticket price should be halved for that scheduling.Been screaming this from the rooftops for years. No reason to play this game while other SEC teams are playing Syracuse and 3 creampuffs in non-con.
Maybe we don’t feel it next year because the SEC schedule is still pretty favorable, but as early as 2026 we are going to be wondering why we are willingly scheduling Ohio State when teams like LSU, Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, OU, A&M, etc. are already on the schedule. It made a lot more sense when the marquee home game in some seasons was Kansas State. This will especially be true if the SEC moves to 9 conference games at any point.
agree to disagree. It’s not conference, it’s first game against the likely defending national champion. It’s not a game Texas runs from. And, this year especially, with a win setting the table.

Nope. It hasn’t. Remove two boneheaded plays and the icy whites are looking damn shiny! The thought of possibly playing Georgia (regular and SEC Championship game) and Ohio State (regular season and CFP) twice next season is insane. We know college gameday will be in Columbus in Week 1.
The Icy Whites are nice but now we just need to play in whatever uniform we are supposed to play in based off seeding etc. We lost in the SEC championship and Cotton bowl wearing the Icy Whites. The allure of that uniform has jumped the shark.
Smart programs worry about maximizing their playoff chances and winning games.Syracuse won 10 games this season, for what it’s worth, and, have you seen who the Horns play in weeks 2, 3, and 4? Travesty of a sham of a farce opponents and season-ticket price should be halved for that scheduling.
I love them don't get me wrong, but I am saying we have lost our two biggest games in them this year. Just saying we should wear whichever uniform we should wear based of seeding. The lure of the icy whites will never decline.
You wear them on the road. Probably gonna take an occasional big game L in them.I love them don't get me wrong, but I am saying we have lost our two biggest games in them this year. Just saying we should wear whichever uniform we should wear based of seeding.
I love the icy whites. Just think our burnt orange will look just as nice winning the whole damn thing.Nope. It hasn’t. Remove two boneheaded plays and the icy whites are looking damn shiny!
Right but in the SEC Championship and Cotton Bowl we were chose to wear them. I would have liked to Wear our Burnt Orange uniforms especially in Texas at the Cotton Bowl. Ask Chad during the mid-day show his thoughts he is the ultimate uniform guy lol.You wear them on the road. Probably gonna take an occasional big game L in them.
Is canceling possible? I can’t imagine either teams wants to playI'd cancel the Ohio State game. A loss really eliminates some wiggle room.
I think Texas wants to play it. Ohio State might want to cancel., they are losing a whole lot and according to OB we have the next QB 1.1 in the NFL draft. Is canceling possible? I can’t imagine either teams wants to play
As it stands that could be a launching pad for Arch (not that he needs one) if he leads Texas to a win. But yes the risk is great.I'd cancel the Ohio State game. A loss really eliminates some wiggle room.
Waiting for me from people who I believe would tell you that they consider themselves to be friends of mine were messages related to UT's loss to Ohio State. Lots of them. All Aggies and Sooners.
"How do I get on your site? I want to enjoy yalls pain," an actual family member, who identifies as an A&M fan, wrote to me while I was in the middle of doing the post-game show.
Well low five for him!Getting a high 5 from Andre the Giant. Is that even possible? Were you on a ladder?
Everyone can just put a sticky note that says this on their screen, it’s basically an OB constant. Many of the responses here are mostly emotional, rather than objective. It’s a super fan site. People don’t like to hear that their dog may not be the cutest dog you’ve ever seen.I don't think people understand the reality and push back against it when it’s talked about because they can't stand anything that isn't overly positive.
Word 🙌You can ride shogun with me to the theater!
Just because he was a starter?
I had no idea they ever existed.I didn't even realize they brought them back. Those were my go to for years with cheese and jalapenos. Looks like I will be making it over there several times this week
Any way your contacts can give estimates by position?I'd love that, too, but the data isn't available and it's evolving rapidly in real time.
fair enoughRight but in the SEC Championship and Cotton Bowl we were chose to wear them. I would have liked to Wear our Burnt Orange uniforms especially in Texas at the Cotton Bowl. Ask Chad during the mid-day show his thoughts he is the ultimate uniform guy lol.

second-to-nextI think Texas wants to play it. Ohio State might want to cancel., they are losing a whole lot and according to OB we have the next QB 1.1 in the NFL draft.
I hate the risk vs. reward in that situation. As it stands that could be a launching pad for Arch (not that he needs one) if he leads Texas to a win. But yes the risk is great.
I'm not a giver. I don't ever rub salt in the wounds of people I know. You better be able to take it when you give it.
It's part of it, especially with this fan base (blue blood). 😂🤣
I received many messages and I just accepted the fact... the defeat... the "it's part of the game we play".
The blood back in the day used to be out of control. Stains would be everywhere from previous nights. lolWell low five for him! Can't begin to tell you how massive that guy was. Dusty Rhodes walked right by me on the way back after the match and was just covered in blood. Still not sure how my mom let me go to that event!!
