I'm afraid a lesson will be learned in all this. That lesson will likely be, cheat your ass off. Ole Miss was a disaster prior to Freeze. Ole Miss seemed to get serious about winning in 2013, and it worked. They are a player for national recruits now, and are a top program. What they are doing works, and seems to be the wise way to build a program.
If you have ever visited Mississippi, you would understand kids are not going for free. The wild west is coming, your donors will be more important than your coach. Every 4 star in the country will have a new car, and every 5 stars mommy will enjoy their new home. This might really help the rich schools.

An athlete can take a college degree and earn 30k-to - __millions depending on how you apply your degree. And you owe nothing debt wise (this is key)

The UT average student can have (fill in the blank amount of debt at graduation) but can also become one of the most influential people in their field.

We get way more money from donors that are former students rather than donors who are former athletes.

Athletics is a immediately ROI that is tangible.
Regular UT students are like stock..the school belives they will get a ROI on UT alumni.

Of course athletics helps our branding. But the difference between UT and say Alabama is
-at the end of the day when the game is over they have to work and see Alabama
-we get to live in Texas where we have created a pretty comfortable way of living based off our own progress which helps our school look better.

I disagree and you didn't answer the question, but it is what it is. I'll email another mod about what happened. Ill send him/her the post in the sequence that they happened, and ask why it's ok that they insult me, and I simply have to deal with it, based on your response.
