Eh in all honesty we haven’t earned it. Compared to where we started the season this season has been a disappointment so far. I mean pre season number 1 starting the season 2-1 against Tennessee, LSU and UCLA shouldn’t be scrambling in the conference tournament to maybe host a regional, but here we are. Unless you are smoking crack, we were ranked #1 at the beginning of the season and managed to suck so bad that we dropped out of the rankings. We ran a piecemeal squad today. It was enough to change up what the batters were seeing to make a difference. Nice job.
Losing Witt was a bitch. But we’re gonna host a regional. And still have an outside shot at that 8 spot.
