I thought the SEC was supposed to be hard. There is a new number 1 in the SEC
I know it’s gonna sound like I’ve got a gallon jug of kool aid but I think the 24-6 is reasonable. Last year I’d agree with you but I think Schloss makes that much difference. We're pretty much half way through the season.
We lost to Louisville on a walk off. Two mid weeks to Texas teams and 1 game to LSU. Pretty damn good start.
Now starts the grind part of the season...for the next month. Then middle of May kicks in and a new, fresh mindset takes a hold.
Get through Kentucky, Arky, Auburn and Aggie at 8-4, 7-5 at the worst and then finish strong as we started.
Texas finishes with Florida at home and at OU.
22-8 in SEC play should be expected. 24-6 isn't out of the question and would be INSANE. Need to take care of business in mid week. Need to go 5-0 in those remaining games.
11-7 in the remaining SEC games would get Texas to 22-8 and probably first place. I think that should be the minimum expectation. That would be winning all but one remaining series. Totally doable. To get to 24-6, it would take 13-5 which is every series win and one more sweep. Not out of the question, but still very tough.
I see 11-7, 5-0 for a final regular season record of 42-11. Texas will be a top 8 seed, probably a top 4.
I have no clue how the SEC tournament format is...see when we get there.
If Texas goes 24-6 in conference play, just go ahead and mail the National Title Trophy to Austin. We're pretty much half way through the season.

He gives opportunities to new guys during the week which is good but it has cost us a couple times this year. It's crazy what Schloss has done with the pitching staff in one year. I've also noticed that he doesn't pitch guys just to pitch them. He has his guys and he relies on them, I think we pitched a total of 5 pitchers in the whole series against Georgia. He treats every inning as important.

I think Auburn, Florida, and Oklahoma are all series that have the potential for the sweep. I think we get st least 1 and maybe 2 of them. I don’t see any series where our starting pitching isn’t favored except for maybe Arkansas. Arkansas’ Friday night guy is legit but so is our guy. Arkansas can rake. I think they scored 50+ in the Missouri series but it was against Missouri. Are they better offensively than Georgia? I don’t know. Georgia offense is elite and our pitching staff worked them over.I don't think it is unreasonable, but I don't think it is likely. 13-5 with what we have left is pretty lofty.
at Kentucky should be 2-1
vs. Auburn should be 2-1
vs. Aggie should be 2-1
at Arky is probably 1-2
vs. Florida should be 2-1
at OU should be 2-1
That is 11-7. To go 13-5, you have to either sweep two of those 2-1s at home or sweep one and take the series at Arky. Not out of the question but in baseball, pretty lofty.

ATM suddenly starting to make some noise after a 3 game run. Let’s keep an eye on their series with SC this weekend. We’ll have our hands full @ Kentucky.

Yep, it was unbelievable how bad they were with the talent they had. They have a very talented roster. They will win some games and I still think they get in a regional.
Fvck.We lost in errors in the 15th....we still have tomorrow to take the series.
