Colts freshman year was his 2nd best year statistically. Maybe you’re thinking of his ‘07 season?
I just watched the highlights again. Would somebody, anybody, go watch TCU’s last TD, and tell me what in the actual f@ck GDBJF is doing?!?!? Is he f***ing daydreaming or something?
I mean goddamn, it’s bad enough he’s terrible in pass coverage, but this is run support. This right up his goddamn alley. This is the kind of play he was made for, and he’s standing there like Ferdinand the f***ing bull smelling flowers. Even the RB slowed up like, really you’re just gonna stand there?

I'm late on this thread. Was watching LDS general conference. There's nothing for me to add that hasn't been said on here. But Jordan Whittington did have a couple of big catches. The second one was the game winner. We did win but I wanted a total destruction of the frogs I think we all did. Why did we have so much trouble against GP? This was the last go around so it was an emotional game. Suffice it to say we will have to play much better next week. There are positives
We are forming an offensive identity not just Bijan but Jordan as well. One big improvement we have going into the OK game is we finally have guys that can take it to the house anytime. I mean OK had guys like Cee Dee Lamb or Hollywood Brown but we didn't. And this will be the first time in a long time that OK has seen a TX offense that can do that. Herman always went with ball control when it came to the passing game. Now we don't have to. And I think D'shawn Jameson is going to break 1 maybe even 2 this year he's getting close Saturday would be a good time to start. I thought our biggest asset coming into this season was the outstanding individual talent at the skill positions and that's what I'm seeing.
Defensively wth Zack Evans is playing like the 5* player he was in high school. OK has only 2 scolly rbs. But can we stop Kennedy Brooks and Rattler from running the ball? That could make them one dimensional. Maybe that can help our chances. Despite the ko return CD played well today. We may not have had as many red zone td's as we would have liked by but CD came through when called upon.
One last thing imo the most overrated stat is as good as your last game. Sarkisian is on his honeymoon but if he loses to OK the honeymoon is over and I know he knows this. TX/OK it's the reason for the season. And as always

I don’t think the “honeymoon” is over with a loss to OU. Hell everyone and their brother expected us to lose the game coming in to the season, and a loss doesn’t really change the outlook of the season. Can still win 10 games, can still win the conference, can still go to a big bowl game. The result win or lose really doesn’t change where we have a chance to be.
Uh ok Are you insinuating that UT didn't have guys that could score? Seems like the game last year was decided in overtime. Maybe you didn't see that game? Texas has always had great speed guys. Just stop

Texas hasn’t had offensive dudes that could house one. Cali is right. This year they do. Haven’t in maybe a decade. Reason why Texas went years without a TD over 50y
What? Yall had a bunch of slow guys? uh ok. For the record CeeDee Lamb was not a burner at all if Cali was informed he'd know that. Lamb had good hands and good route running ability

We have over recruited at certain positions and not well at others.
ou has vastly out recruited Texas along the offensive line. It makes all the difference.
You apparently haven't seen our OL. Btw our preferred walk-on receiver has the best hands on the team
No, you're not understanding what either of us are saying. We have not had guys that can house any play in a long ass time. We're not saying OUs Big 12 dominance over the last 10 years is because Texas hasn't recruited well. Texas has had fine classes, that haven't been developed. What we're telling you is we haven't had a dude like Bijan in a long time. Foreman was close, but not nearly as good. We haven't had dudes like #7 and #8 in a long time. Probably Marquise Goodwin was the last one.
And you weren't watching the game at all homeboy. We got 6 td's almost completely by Sam Ehlinger. He ran for 4 and threw a couple of short td passes. There was no running game except for Sam. No receivers. Otoh OK had quite a few explosive plays.
So tell me Belldozer which OK players should we watch for? Since I'm certain you don't know any of OK's key players not named Spencer Rattler go on one of the sooner sites and thrill us with your acumen.
Well 9/3 ain't my benchmark. Nothing less than a win over OK and Big XII title will satisfy me.
9-3 for a first year coach with a program that has struggled to get to that over the last 10 years is a solid start. Do we want more? Of course but quite frankly this roster may not be capable of more
You should be concerned with the one name that has caused many a Longhorn nightmare: STOOPS, best hands on the team. So Sam threw short td passes to himself? Interesting. Anymore OU brain benders I can answer for you?
Drake Stoops is a possession receiver not a difference maker. TD pass to himself? But hey you can now name 2 OK players.
I think he is the opposite of Herman(kind of seen that against TCU. I think some of the problem this program has had is obviously coaching and I think this staff solves that to a large degree. Some of it though is talent, and that likely will need a couple recruiting cycles to work its way out.
I don't know little pimp, he sure made a difference in the game last year but since you didn't watch you wouldn't remember that back breaker TD?
