Business Development Manager for a POP Management and Logistics Company. We create, schedule, produce and manage at-store advertising for Shell, Whataburger, etc.

BTW, this may be the best thread I have seen on Orangebloods. A thread like this could indirectly pay for some subscriptions.

not to dog on texas...but why did you leave colorado? i'm actually trying to end up back there. must have been a really good job!

when you say "season," was it the ski season or the summer season?

i went back last summer with my wife to show her some of my favorite places and to kayak with some old buddies. it's an amazing place and i miss it. we now live in a home without central a/c, and some really poor window units. that cold river h2o would be damn gratifying right now!

i miss it like crazy; i had no money and had recently graduated. i didn't even have a good job waiting for me in texas, but i felt i had more connections and opportunity here. i did miss texas, but it wasn't the reason i returned. my parents were still supporting me, and i didn't like that at all.

i spent a ski season there - dec through may. i still try to get 10-15 days a year on the hill, but that doesn't really compare to the 90 or so i had that year. i don't regret it, but i don't think i'll stay here forever either.

my handle is actually a snowboarding reference

TX1Plank: I start hiring ski/board instructors and other ski season positions in late October if you want to try Utah's Rockies. Know what you mean about Colorado.... I was in Aspen last year at this time. I can honestly tell you that the powder is better in Utah and you can't beat the non-existent lift lines on Sunday's at all the resorts in UT.

Great thread from a long-time lurker.
