OT: Las Vegas active shooter

Nueces, I see nothing in the video that you posted that shows evidence of another shooter, unless I missed something. Sure, there are things that we don't know and more information that will come out, but I'm not so sure about all of this conspiracy theory and black helicopters stuff. Unless there is concrete evidence, I think Paddock acted alone.

Not saying it's a fact but there is some evidence to say something different possibly happened. Especially with the differing sounds made at different ranges. The initail weapon sounds belt fed... they don't sell those. Fishy... Benghazi and the video.... need I say more?

I hate to say this but I bet something big happens again soon.

And to clob maybe there were two shooters different calibers one high one low.
Robo, bro...... I respect you, always have-- but let's walk through this.

1. If there were two shooters, the "lower" window would have to be replaced from the outside. It can not be done from the inside. It's completely impossible to replace those windows from the inside. The glass weighs a couple hundred pounds and is designed to prevent ppl from jumping out of it to commit suicide. Every eye in Vegas was focused on that building non stop once the shooting started. Someone would have seen it being replaced.
2. The two different sounds you hear were echos.....AND the shooter switching from 7.62x51 bullets to 5.56 bullets. They make totally different sounds. Load two guns, one with each caliber, crank off one until it's dry, drop it and crank off another till it's dry. You're going to gear different sounds.
3. If you don't believe me, then please refer to this thread at noon on Monday or better yet my Twitter account at 8:20am Monday morning (shortly after I woke up and turned on the tv) where I EXCLAIM that a "bump system" was being used. I know my gun report sounds, my man.
4. On the OFF chance there were two shooters, they were both in that room on the 32nd floor. See reason #1 Why. I would buy that before I could ever buy 2 shooters on 2 different floors. It's simply not logistically possible. Too many eyes on that building bro.

Now, do I think this whole thing stinks to high heaven? Hell yes I do. A dude that worked for the IRS and was a post man and an "uncertified" accountant for Lockheed Martin ended up being worth millions?

We are being lied to, but it's not about a "ghost shooter" bro.

So have you not seen the video of the taxi cab driver?
Yes I have. And where was he located? In the vortex of that sound echo. If you listen closely and count the first burst of rounds, and then count the second burst....its an echo. The cab driver is around the BACK of the building as the shooter is shooting a LARGE caliber round out of the nearest window. Lots of echos. The shooter also has a "muzzle break" on that weapon. A muzzle break is located on the end of the barrel of a weapon and is meant to
reduce the recoil on a large caliber weapon. The side effect is........ it makes that weapon MUCH LOUDER when fired.
When fired out of the closest window to the cabby, and add the reverb and echos, HELL yes it's loud.

Now, he then runs to the next window and grabs the AR loaded with 5.56 (.223) ammo. No muzzle break needed on this weapon because the recoil is almost nothing. So this weapon "compared to" the sound of the 7.62 with a muzzle break, appears to be soooooooooooooo far away because it's sooooooooooo much more quiet.

I know it's tough to convince your ears of this my man, but I'm telling you.......first hand..... that's what you heard.

Latest reports are that there is evidence that he planned to survive and had an escape plan. Something went wrong in his planning because he decided to kill himself instead. He had tannerite in his car and room that was never used, way more guns and ammo that went unused, etc... Does anyone else think he could have been expecting help that never came?

He shoots for ten minutes and then stops. Wasn't the reports that it took 70 minutes for the SWAT team to reach his room. What was he doing during that time? My guess is that something happened that threw a wrench in his plan and he said, F it, I'm checking out.

I don't think it took 70 minutes for SWAT to reach the room, it took 70 minutes for them to breach. Not sure why but I remember them saying that once the gunfire had stop they were preparing for a barricade situation. I don't think it actually took them 70 minutes to get to the door, I am assuming they were in the halls. If he were to have resumed firing in those 70 minutes they would have breached immediately.

I heard a report that said the gunman fired through the door of his hotel room which I presume means he was firing at the cops that were trying to breach his room. If true then I can understand it taking a while to breach his room. Granted if this was indeed the case I do think if the shooter was still actively shooting innocent people then the cops would have had no choice but to breach the room, regardless of if he shot through the door at them or not.

He shot at the responding security guard that he could see on his monitor camera. He wounded that dude, Hispanic guy, and that dude called in for help. You never breech a door you don't know what's on the other side. Dude could have rigged it with a bomb. Swat shows up, inserts fibe optic camera into the door, sees there's no bomb or boobie trap, then they breech.

I imagine 99% of us haven't even heard of bump stocks or slide stocks before yesterday. They seem like they would be incredibly dangerous for the user as much as the target.
I had one that was given to me, I trashed it. It is a gimmick, but used properly. It allows you to spray a lot of ammo. When your talking fish in a barrel, you dont need to be accurate.

Barrel heat has always been a problem with automatic rifles. The german WWII machine gun had easily interchangeable barrels for this reason. The American mg of WWI had a water jacket. I usually let my deer rifle cool after 2 or 3 rounds. I ruined a barrel many years ago by sustaining fire too long. can't imagine how hot those rifles got after 2-300 rounds apiece.

Looks like we have another active shooter.

It appears that this walking anal rash decides he wants to shoot up a newspaper in Annapolis. Looks like the shotty is becoming the weapon of choice for crap shooters. They are evolving. As I've said before, give an inexperienced shooter a shotgun and his hit ratio goes up.

5 folks dead.

He had a bone to pick apparently it wasn't just a random shooting this time. When I see his picture it reminds me of an old coworker that was fired for harassment. After he was fired I told everyone if you ever see him in the parking lot drive home and call us. I was not kidding.
