For reference, last year there were only 8 true freshmen that played in 5 or more games (Baster, Wisner, Cook, Hill, Lefau, Muhammad, McDonald, and Williams).
This year with a longer season, I am going to go with 11, barring injuries...
Gibson - injuries in the backfield means he will play a lot more than anticipated.
Wingo - another obvious one.
January - lot of bodies in the room, but I think he will play on both line and special teams.
Simmons - three year player
Smith - flashing big time in camp, will play a lot including special teams
Black - similar to Muhammad a year ago.
Filsaime - 5th safety, will rotate in every game
Wilson - primarily on Special Teams
Mack - primarily on Special Teams
JJR - primarily on Special Teams
Kern - starting punter
Hook 'em
