Do you think Robert would have any shot against Cornyn if he pulled out of the Presidential race today? Some of his recent fringe left policy proclamations made out of desperation make me think he wouldn't even be the D's best choice to oppose Cornyn (something I did think a few months ago).
To me, at this point, Robert is unelectable in Texas. You can't advocate gun confiscation, talk about being ashamed you are white, talk about taxing non military families, and be elected to a state wide office in Texas. Democrats should pursue the racist Castro who doxxes his own donors for that race.

Also someone should explain basic civics to Robert. Beating Cornyn in Texas would be massive for the democrats nationally as it might give them control of the Senate. It might just put them in position to pack the Supreme Court which has quickly become a major agenda item.
