Your logic is that SE better fits TH system. However, TH is the one that picked SB as the starter. While I think that SE has played well for his first start, there is a big difference between starting a home game in your home town and starting a road game against a top 10 team in the Coliseum.

If Sam plays the whole game and wins. You are right. But, I know it is stating the obvious but SJSU is no USC. The offense played with no pressure because SJSU wasn't competitive. Bid difference when playing with a big lead vs playing from behind for both coaches and players.
