Look at what teams average between 11 and 30 and tell me if any of those teams are much better than the other. Hint, any of them can beat the others on any day and none of them are winning any national championships. That's pretty much the same thing to me.

Only one damn team a year wins the Natty. If the summation of your season on an annual basis is winning the natty, 90% of the time you're going to be disappointed.

Texas got an easy draw playing 5 of the worst 6 teams in the league. You'll be fine. Anything less than 10-2 should be disappointing.

No sure how long you have been paying attention but can you remember the last time OU had a bad OL? They take in transfers pretty much every year, so that's nothing new. Somehow Bedenbaugh makes them ready regardless of who he puts out there

Well I’m 55 years old so I’m gonna guess I’ve been paying attention longer than you have but that’s irrelevant to my point. Your OL coach is good. Really good. Doesn’t change the fact that the Sooners are proficient at holding to say the least. Especially the secondary.
Bebenbaugh gets more credit than he deaerves. Riley has been the OC and HC for so many years that his offensive dominance was a reason those OLs were attracted in the first place. I don’t see anybody singing the praises of how great the WRs coach was/is, yet ou had excellent receivers. And why, because of Riley and his offense.
Riley been gone a few years now and Bedenbaugh still had a first round OL picked each of the last two seasons, and both of his OTs too. He's got a well earned reputation as a developer and we all know it. He's got his work cut out for him this year too
