Ketch hopped on my podcast this week, and the goal was to have a good old-fashioned sports discussion without mentioning the c-word (not that really bad c-word).

Here are the highlights:

- Ketch said Tom Herman did Sam Ehlinger a disservice by downplaying the rib injury last season. He believes acknowledging the pain Ehlinger was experiencing would have explained the low quarterback ratings in multiple games. He believes Ehlinger was left hung out to dry.

- I pointed out the concern within the building about putting a target on Ehlinger's ribs by acknowledging that injury. They believed the best way to protect Ehlinger was by not informing opposing teams of the injury.

- On a scale of 1-10, we are at a five when it comes to being concerned about Ehlinger's rib injury.

- When asked if the lack of spring practice hurts Oklahoma redshirt freshman quarterback Spencer Rattler or Ehlinger the most, we agreed on the Sooner passer. Ehlinger is working with a new coordinator, but Rattler needs the reps.

- We discussed how freshman quarterback Hudson Card could have gained an advantage over Ja'Quiden Jackson this spring. Card enrolled in January, and Jackson will not hit campus until the summer. However, Card is losing that advantage without spring practice.

- Texas offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich vs. Baylor's offensive coordinator Larry Fedora. We gave our winner.

- Texas running backs coach Stan Drayton vs. Oklahoma running backs coach DeMarco Murray. Ketch explains why he thinks Murray will be a special coach in the future.
