The couchburners are terrible this year (worst in the Big 12 in both offensive and defensive efficiency), but Texas is terrible on the road (1-5), with a single win coming against a KSU team missing its two best players.

WVU has the worst 2PT% defense in the conference, and, believe it or not, Texas has the best 2PT% offense. WVU commits a ton of fouls, and Texas actually shoots FTs very well (but doesn’t draw enough fouls). Which means there’s roughly a 65% chance that we’ll spend most of the night chucking up sh*tty threes at the end of the shot clock instead of pounding the ball inside.

Should be fun.

Hayes has two as well. We’re not even six minutes into the game. JFC.

Currently on pace to have 60 fouls called in this goddamned game.

Not too bad so far, other than Hamm having two moving screen violations in a row. . I hope they keep driving to the basket and being physical.

Is it just me or do all the west Virginia kids in the crowd look the same?

Well I see that were up 48/35 six minutes into the second half. I'm desperate to find anything, anything positive.

Texas opens the second half on a 17-7 run and now has its largest lead of the game. Up 51-35 with 13:47 to play.

Make that 58-35 with 11:30 to play. Ramey is 5-6 from three tonight.

So what’s the latest with Andrew Jones? Is he still improving and getting stronger or have there been some setbacks? Is he still having to go through some treatment?

I remember seeing him in the box score early in the season against a weak opponent, but have not seen his name pop up in a stat line since then.

I am surprised we are doing pick and roll as much as we have tonight. It has been there all season.
