In the 6th, Tenn Tech is up on Ole Miss 10 to zip. If they keep it up in game 7, we will have more baseball in Austin...
man ole miss taking a pounding. Tenn tech as a chance to. They took ole miss to the brink yesterday and are pounding them in the first game. Not what they wanted especially being a day behind everyone.
How epic would it be to host a Super Regional in Austin this weekend...after how this season began...after everything this team has been through...Augie...the emotions would be through-the-roof.
Although, I'm not sure if having a Super in Austin or having to travel to Oxford would ultimately prepare our team more (assuming we win 2 of 3) for performing at the CWS. Our showing at the Big XII tournament doesn't have me very confident in our ability to compete in a high-stake environment away from home.

We've had good but shaky teams before that made it to Omaha, and they did very well. Texas always shows up in Omaha, it's in the blood.

4.7 million gaurnteed with more long term earning potential, and less physical toll. Be tough to turn down imo
He gone. There will be too many clauses in his contract. Ask ricky or cedrick about baseball contracts. Ricky had clause after clause in his baseball contract---- sh!t you never heard or read about in the media. Silly sh!t, too. If I'm Kyler, I take my 5 mil, I jump on the fall ball train and I go play 15 years in the majors instead of 0 years in the nfl.
You may be right but I have a friend in baseball (pro) and he said that is the deal. However, things can change!
I'm not discounting you're source by one bit...... I'm simply saying that when nlb teams make an investment of that magnitude, they want their investment protected as much as possible.... running around being a 185 pound qb for Oklahoma doesn't fiit in that agenda....
If Kyler is smart, he will go to the MLB. But, he's a Sooner, so...

I totally agree with your thinking, but I think he had worked something out with Oakland prior to the draft. I think his future is in MLB, not the NFL and why he would risk injury is silly. However, I think he has a big ego, loves college football, and wants to play a season at OU. Obviously, it could change, but I have it on good source that Oakland and he talked prior to the draft.
So where is Tennessee Tech? Looked up,Its in Cookeville,TN,halfway between Nashville and Knoxville,Tn,nice looking campus on school website,boyhood home of Mack Brown.====== Murray stated in morning press conference he wants to QB the sooners,Deon Sanders who played both sports remarked "he should burn the sooner uniform in the locker room and go play baseball."

I'm not familiar with all the nuances of MLB drafting, but by what I can see with my eyes Kody Clemens is playing at an elite level better than most players we've had for the past 20 years. He got taken comparatively low in the draft considering how well he is playing at this moment. Was he the bargain of the year?
In mlb draft world college guys are generally taken lower unless they are viewed as “elite”. Mostly because their upside is viewed is as limited.
Plus as a Jr maybe he’s told teams he’s interested in going back to for his sr year
No insight, but I'm pretty sure he's not struggling to pay the bills. Wouldn't surprise me if he stays to fully enjoy the college experience. Especially if we don't win the NC this year.
I'd be VERY surprised if he came out early. He's watched older brothers bang around the minor leagues for years now and I don't think sleeping in flea bag motels and playing for teams in Flagstaff, Midland, Joplin, and Durham are really high up on his list right now. Stay in school, keep slaying the bevy of quality a$$ he has at his fingertips---- as opposed to the road lizards in Mobile or Chattanooga--- eat top shelf training table meals every night instead of slumming it at the steak and shake, fly first class instead of riding on a greyhound.... but most importantly, keep slaying that bevy of high quality a$$ in austin..... which would YOU take?
