Wanting to see the paperwork for McDonald and Akana come in. I want to say his sister (Akana) is on the womens VB team, so there's that.
If he signs with Louisville might be a portal guy in the next couple years.

Deandre Moore has decided not to sign today. Sounds like Texas may just move on from him.
If a dude wants the whole world, best to move on from him. Takes 60+ dudes to win championships.
Sounds like his camp tried to squeeze a little more NIL money out of Texas at the 11th hour and Texas said no. I think Texas will probably hit the portal now for receivers
Well, St John Bosco’s signing day ceremony...their players have placeholders where they sit, with the logo of the school they’ve chosen next to their name. There was a Longhorn next to Deandre’s name. He clearly intended to sign with Texas, but something must’ve gone wrong.
He way overplayed his hand and Texas called his bluff… kid is gonna learn a valuable life lesson on negotiating

Well, Baylor put all its eggs in one basket for Austin Novosad. 4 Star Drones portaled to Virginia Tech. No other QB's recruited - all because the savior was coming to Waco. He flipped to Oregon last night. LAST NIGHT, THE NIGHT BEFORE SIGNING DAY, AFTER RE AFFIRMING HIS COMMITMENT. We now have one scholarship QB on the roster. No QB signed in 2 years. The genius Aranda is catching a lot of heat.
Liona Lefau is in. That’s all 21 commits signed. Nice job by the staff holding on to all of them. Now we wait for Akana.
Also it should be noted, Jelani McDonald signed his LOI today, but he’s not announcing until the AA game in January. It is a high probability he signed with Texas.
Texas just picked up Gavin Holmes the transfer DB from Wake Forrest. Nice pickup
Insiders on Reddit (Nahlin and Suchomel) are reporting that Jordan Whittington returning for 5th season is a real possibility. So much so that it was the main reason Agiye Hall is no longer with the program and the reason Deandre Moore hasn’t yet signed.
The more I hear about Moore the more it sounds like he's kind of full of himself. Supposedly his school had a signing ceremony set up for him and his teammates and he just didn't show up and didn't tell anybody he wasn't going to show up.
Yeah I like the kid as a talent but reality is that he’s the lowest rated WR in Texas class I’d he were in it. I think the staff can replace him in the portal and I think they know that.
