To stop a good college QB like today and next week you have to be in his face within 3 or 4 seconds or they will burn you, Great crowd on hand for the horns;

We still have at least one more loss this season. Our defense is not good. This is an 8-4 team. We are not recruiting the quality of d-linemen that can rush the qb well. This team will always get beat by a good qb.

It's not fun losing 2 games by 4 points because of missed tackles and a 2 point conversion. Fans are going to be pissed.

So how did the defense go from being phenomenal last year to this, what we’ve seen in the last two games? Were Poona, Malik, Holton and Elliott just that good? If so and it’s a personal issue then how long are we going to have to wait to get good talent and good depth? I might have to reset my rebuild clock to two to four years.

Today I saw Coburn and Ojomo got a couple of snaps but barely played, last week I don’t think any besides Sterns and Foster and they’re the starters anyways
I think that Nailed it,The Wv QB with Texas DL rush was having over 4 or 5 seconds to throw and you needed blitzes from LB's or secondary players which becomes a guessing game.
So if Tech somehow beats OU tonight and we win out won’t we still make the Big 12 championship??
Then WVU would also have to beat OU the chances of OU losing to both Texas Tech and West Virginia plus Texas winning out are so slim.
Holgerson out coached Herman in the fourth. Does anyone else not think he told his guys to not worry about giving up a big play on our last drive. Once it got under three minutes they didn’t worry about the deep pass. We scored quick and gave them too much time. We should have slowly kept driving and tried for the game winning field goal. Herman needs to be smarter in those situations. I know it sounds crazy but we win if Duverney didn’t score there.
We are still much improved than last year and should finish no worse than 8-4 before bowl season. This team teased us by beating 2 teams we did not expect before they came back to reality. I can’t be mad about that in year 2 under a new head coach.
Hold up. So Holgerson out coached Herman by telling his guys to give up a TD as quick as they could so they could get the ball back, drive 75 yards and go for 2?
