Obviously Texas signs a few 3-stars it thinks are better than that or who can be developed, like Caleb Chester and the Coleman twins. So who did other big football schools want from the Texas high schools who were 3-stars or lower? Also, we have OB posters who know these kids, so tell us about them. I didn't do low 4-stars, though some of them are in similar situations.

Southern Cal:
Riley Wormley 3-star RB from Southlake, TX (knee injury may have hurt his ratings)
(I won't mention 3-star Gus Cordova, we all know that story)

Florida:

Muizz Tounkara 3-star WR from League City, Tx
Chad Gasper 3-star RB from Katy, TX

Michigan:

Jayden Sanders 3-star athlete Kilgore, Tx

LSU:

Dilan Battle 3-star DT from Mansfield, Tx

North Carolina:

Byron Nelson 3-star OL Katy, Tx

Washington:

Ramonz Adams, 3-star DB from Bastrop, Tx (previously Smithville, TX)

Wisconsin:

Xavier Ukponu 3-star DT from Denton, Tx (claimed to have a Texas offer)

Nebraska:

Bryson Webber 3-star DB from Missouri City, Tx (Bryson's stepdad, Gareon Conley, was a cornerback at Ohio State, while his father, Montre Webber, was a wide receiver at Texas.)

Malcolm Simpson 3-star DE from Hitchcock, Tx

Missouri:

Brendon Haygood 3-star RB from Sachse, Tx (originally committed to Boise State)

Arkansas:

Nigel Pringle 3-star CB from Houston
Cash Courtney 3-star OL from Carthage
Jayden Shelton 3-star LB from Dallas
Markeylin Batton 3-star ath from Atlanta, TX

Big 12 champ Arizona State:

literally a half dozen Texas HS 3-stars
