TOSU & Will Howard

I may be missing something here but am very open to hearing what it is that I am in fact missing.

But someone please explain to me such high lofty rankings for TOSU & Will Howard at the helm as QB. Did I miss something about him? He is good? He averaged 6/7th in overall statistical rankings for QB’s in the Big 12 last season. Behind esteemed QB’s from OK State (running team), Iowa State & Houston.
