That lady had some demons she never dealt with. So sad. Alcohol, drugs, sex, etc. are all bottomless pits that will never satisfy. Only Christ can fulfill.
Another note, for 30 days she lay dead in her apartment? Effing kidding me? She truly was left by everyone that knew her and loved her. So freaking sad. And her new crowd didn’t give two shits about her
I learned 2 things early on traveling to the oil fields around the world.

I wouldnt be suprised at how many ppl would faint or be disgusted if they went to a slaughter house. Best advice is what you just said. Dont ask, dont look.

I got to party with Billy Gibbons one night. No cocaine was involved. He played at my cousin's blues club. We were backstage. Dude is tiny.
Makes me think La Grange should be the “Take the Field” song going forward. Hells Bells is no bueno, imho.
Coolest celebrity moment I had was at a bachelor party on Halloween at the Clubhouse in Dallas. Vinny Paul owned it. He then invited us back to his house for a party and let's just say it was as wild as expected. Strippers, drugs, live hookups happening every where. Was crazy

way after. i waited tables at a TGI FRIDAYS for 4 years and he went to sherlocks bar every night to play pool which was in our same parking lot. I met him a few times there. The Halloween party was in 2010.
and yeah i know how he died. His party had drugs EVERYWHERE, LITERALLY anything you want, it was there.
Dimebag Darrell...that's a blast from the past. Cody Canada and CCR memorialized him well in their song "Dimebag". Great tune.
Back in the mid-70s, my older brother was a bartender at the Willow Creek Club (way back when popular nightclubs were in apartment complexes in Houston); he used to tell the ladies he was Frank Beard (ironically, the non-bearded ZZ Top drummer). There was a strong resemblance, but my brother wouldn’t know a clef note from a bank note. So…
Fast forward to 1986, (yeah, Clob, I’m old as f*#%!).
One night, while I was bartending at Ocean Club in Houston, a guy wearing a dark suit, string tie and sporting a looong, well-kept beard… sat down at my bar. It was a slow night and he was my only customer, so I figured I’d amuse him with the story of my brother, the fake Frank Beard. I asked if he’d ever been mistaken for Billy Gibbons. He just smiled and ordered a Jack rocks. He wasn’t much for gab, so I left him be.
About thirty minutes later, one of my assistant managers walked up, slapped the guy on the back and said… “HEY BILLY! Good to see you. How are Dusty and Frank?”
I was too humiliated to ask for an autograph.
First saw Billy and ZZ Top in ’74 at one of the first ever concerts at The Summit in Houston. They came back for seven encores. Saw them in concert seven times through the years.

There’s something in the water in DeSoto. Six linemen on their roster are listed at over 300lbs. Byron Washington (the mountain of a man in the tweet below) is listed at 6’-7”/360. Sark has offered a scholly, but he has one year remaining in high school. He’s only a junior. 😳

He definitely stood out during the game, although there was another DeSoto lineman or two that looked rather large. Their center is listed at 6’-1”/310 and right tackle is 6’4”/350. Doesn’t seem fair… 🤔
Damn story sounds familiar man....cause I swear I went to one also I was part of the local scene at the time cause of a band and s&^* was crazy every damn weekend.
