That was a very close call. I have seen that allowed plenty of times as well. We are fortunate the referee called it in our favor.
I’ll never understand how someone can think baseball and NASCAR are exciting and fun to watch and then think soccer is boring.

Horan should be the 6. She sees space better than all other players combined. She communicates better than Ertz. Horan is our most complete player and it’s not even close.

Keep in mind that most of us just don't care. "The love that dare not say it's name" long ago became the love that won't shut up. Since I don't care about women's soccer to begin with, this just makes me turn the channel faster.

Never understood this. Baseball or Golf are much slower and lethargic games, albeit still highly skilled.
You have probably never been to a pro soccer game. I cant go to a football game anymore, especially if its televised. Literally nothing happens half the time. Go see the Dynamo or FC Dallas. The games are fast paced, no time outs and are over usually in under 2 hours. Its great entertainment.
I've played and like watching soccer. After seeing the European teams, it's hard to watch MLS. It's like dating a fat girl just to get noticed by her hot friend. Once you get the hot one, there's no going back.
Well if we are comparing elite level European league games versus the MLS I would agree with you completely but I don't get over to Europe often enough to do that regularly. MLS games are good enough in the mean time.

The Dutch are no joke. Those girls are healthy, built like brick sh!thouses and can play.
20 thousand season tickets is great but Atlanta and Seattle regularly sell 70 thousand for their home games. Ill be thrilled if Austin FC can sell out every home game.
ATL does, Seattle has never broken 70K.
Atl Utd holds the top ten single game attendance records in mls history and has easily led the league in attendance its first two years and will this year too.
FCD, San Jose, NYRB, LAFC, LAG all play an attractive style. Plus all but LAFC really play their youth and develop youth.
Maybe not 70K but Seattle regularly fills that NFL stadium up.
Try 52k in Atlanta and 39k in Seattle. Not sure if that is tickets sold or people through the turnstiles.

All United gets over 40K minimum for league games and that is with the upper level curtained off. When they open up the entire stadium, they'll draw up to 71K.

Curious thought, especially for other physicians: Could Megan Rapinoe have congenital androgen insensitivity syndrome? These people have XY chromosomes, but the androgen receptors don't function normally. Superficially female, often very superior athletes. Testosterone levels are intermediate between XX females and males.

Got to the bar at 7:45 this morning, had to elbow our way to a table and then fiend it off for 4 hours. Great atmosphere to watch the victory but definitely took some effort. Finn McCools in New Orleans is a great spot for soccer (and other international sports) if y'all ever visit.
