If the Texas defense sucks, you can lay that 100% at the feet of Charlie strong.

Today, I watched the Army QB carry out fakes all game. It made me notice how we never seem to do that.
It might be to protect your freshman(still undersized) qb. Not wanting him taking to many shot?
Except the secondary still can't tackle...who is the coach of the secondary? And a HC doesn't have to be good at either...there have been plenty of HCs that aren't great at either.
Also, Strong has a pedigree of successful defenses...what does Bedford have?

We have been crying about strong also. Bedford should have been fired but charlie won't get rid of his buddy. It is disturbing how bad the D is with charlie being something kind of D wizard.
This defense is not coached well. No rhyme or reason for what they do sometimes. No discipline.
The Texas defense looks confused in every game. That is coaching. The Texas defense is the same age as the offense. They are worlds apart.
I have zero confidence that the defense can get a stop when needed. This is going to be a close game because we suck in the secondary and don't want to run the effing football for some reason.
If we could get a stop or two, we need to just go 18-Wheeler until they are all mashed into the turf. They haven't stopped the run yet. Shane is going to keep getting knocked around if we keep trying to be cute. RUN THEM OVER.
