If Republicans are so concerned about voter fraud and making sure the right person votes, why don't they vote to require identification and universal background checks for all gun purchases as well?
Voter fraud cases are so rare. Washington Post only found 31 credible incidents of voter fraud out of a billion votes. In spite of this, Republicans are more than fine with disenfranchising citizens of their constitutional right to vote if they don't have an ID. And yet when it comes to requiring identification for gun purchases, no...we can't deny the majority their right to buy guns and instead we'll just let the few bad apples go ahead and buy their guns anyway.
