This kid was at our mini-camp this last weekend, where he posted a 4.49 in the 40.
He's a family friend, who's looking for his chance to play D1 football next year.
One write up I saw, from a fellow named Joe Cook, after his drills was the following:
McAllen ATH Gunnar Henderson, who's got some Cole Beasley/Ryan Switzer to his game.
Of course I'm biased. But to my eye, he definitely plays several pounds heavier, and several inches taller than his frame. With an obvious burst, as well as being one of those kids, with the proverbial "head for the game".
It's fairly obvious he's a little under the normal Power 5 conference sized. But then again, there have been other tough little bastards his same size, who have done big things in this slot WR role.
I'd love to hear your opinions of his film.
And what type of schools you think his skills might line him up with?
