how could recruiting go south?
Yeah, you answered your own question there. Duh.Unless you have mass decommits, how could recruiting go south?
Unless you have mass decommits, how could recruiting go south? You are already in top 10 with only 16 commits so far.
Will be very interesting to see how 17 year kids see these teams.
I just entered my thoughts, that list is best case scenario best finish possible. I would be thrilled if we ended like that. Dont think it'll happen thoughFolks more in the know tell me, can we finish with this?
RB - Noah Cain No I think he's LSU bound...IMO we have a better shot at Trey Sanders
WR - Elijah Higgins I think we land him, but Stanford is a threat here
WR - Marcus Washington Yes, I think he's one of the next to commit
OL - William Putnam No idea... OL recruiting is going to be interesting to watch
DL - Marcus Stripling I don't know interested we are... why hasn't he committed to aggy or OU yet? maybe something deeper here
DL - Rodas Johnson No idea... DL recruiting is going to be interesting to watch, just like with OL
DL - Faatui Tuitele Never thought he was coming here, Bama or Washington
LB - David Gbenda If we are pushing he is ours, maybe committing soon?
DB - Noa Pola-Gates I think he goes to Bama, need to get him on campus tho bc i think he as legit interest
DB - Jalen Catalon I thought he was all in, until he didnt make it to campus for USC and went to TCU game instead
ATH - Bru McCoy I think he stays West Coast, but UT is definitely giving him lots to think about
That would put us at 27. Can we take that many?
We would have a score of 299.81 with that...probably the #3 Class.
What are the chances?
Think you answered your own question there. Slow playing him.Gbenda- 4* LB (if we push.... why hasn't he committed already?)
speaking of news letters....I read that Hamm has been booted by Texags(again)...and it must have put him in a bad mood because he got into a fight.....wait for it........wait for it....at a high school football game and got kicked out.....Nice!
Are you sure it was a fight? Maybe it was midget wrestling, like we used to have in the 80's. So maybe it was fake.speaking of news letters....I read that Hamm has been booted by Texags(again)...and it must have put him in a bad mood because he got into a fight.....wait for it........wait for it....at a high school football game and got kicked out.....Nice!

I don't want any part of yours. Thanks for the awesome question, Joe. “How can things go bad unless things go bad”?
10/10. Would read again. I want to subscribe to your newsletter.
Heard the same. I wonder if he is good enough to overlook character concerns?I'm hearing on another site that Shepherd has been kicked off his high school team. Better start looking for more O linemen.

For us? Or for Jimbo? Because Jimbo allows crab leg theft. Oh and rape.Heard the same. I wonder if he is good enough to overlook character concerns?
siap
I've noticed a few threads on here about a shortage of dl in TX and the good ones are going to the cow college. Let me tell ya out here in Pac XII country Utah has become a hot bed of lineman talent. We recruited Junior Angilau out of Salt Lake City and he'll be good one. Coach Herman went to his house right after the season finale and offered him thankfully he said yes.
But in Utah there are a lot of Samoan lineman. Did you know that American Somoa has more players per capita in the NFL than anyone else? But it's not just Somoans, there's Pacific Islanders especially Tongan's, Polynesian, and Hawaii players that area P5 school worthy. Ever since Utah joined the Pac XII the Pac XII schools have been cleaning up. We started with Junior Angilau now let's get some more.
I posted a thread, maybe a year ago, about the 4 Texas schools joining the Pac 12. The eastern half would be made up of 2 pods - ASU, UA, Utah, Colo and then the Texas Pod. The West is obvios. The Cali schools and then the 4 to the north. I think it would work. Of course this would give us access to Utah.
I think the Big 12 grows to 16 teams and add the AZ schools, Utah, Colorado and the LA schools (or Boise state and UH). Form 2 eight team conference with the 6 PAC, TT and ISU making up the west and the rest of the conference in the east. UT plays all 7 division teams and 3 rotating west division teams and 2 out of conference teams. Yes I'm curious how this all is going to play out. Clearly, the B1G and SEC are the mammoth conference leaders. ACC, Big XII, and PAC are kind of up-and-down equal in terms of power. Will we sway someone powerful from those conferences to join us (probably not ACC because of geography)? We will try to embolden the PAC by joining them? Or will we join what's already powerful like B1G or SEC, and leave everyone else to fend for themselves?I posted a thread, maybe a year ago, about the 4 Texas schools joining the Pac 12. My guess is neither back off. Question is which side pretends they backed off, when they don't land him. It is all pretty predictable after you watch recruiting battles for years. For us? Or for Jimbo? Because Jimbo allows crab leg theft. Oh and rape.
