Josh Helmholdt mentioned that Texas offered Rivals100 TE Thomas Fidone out of Iowa yesterday.
Another tight end offer went out to four-star Gunnar Helm. This one's interesting because he's a teammate of Texas defensive line offer Arden Walker, a guy I think UT has a good shot with if the staff pushes. Helm did release a top 14 a while back and told Rivals.com a few days ago he has a top five in his head, so we'll have to see if the UT offer makes a dent.
Walker and I are supposed to connect for an update this week. I'll try to track down Helm and Fidone as well.
