B12 in 2017 Bowls

This narrative is a broken record, but never more true than now....... Texas should’ve pounded ou athletics out of relevance decades ago. There is no logical reason ou should have success - ever.

It’s a direct result of Texas, one way or another, fvcking it up and not taking care of business.

I'm tired of all this bowl games are meaningless blah blah blah

From my vantage point it sure looked like the Houston Bowl mattered to our players. It meant a winning record which meant a lot to our seniors. It gives them reason to think we didn't do this for nothing. We need to follow our players and be happy when they've done something meaningful. If it means a lot to them or should mean a lot to us. You wanna say some pompous, pretentious stuff and it's only the Houston Bowl tell them that to their face.
The extra practice time is HUGE...no matter what bowl u go to

There's no question that the Big XII conference as a whole improved this year. We finished third among the P5 conferences. Note that we finished ahead of the ACC as well as the Pac XII. And our conference did well in bowl season OK's loss doesn't change that. Best thing about bowl season was the Texas Longhorns beating Missouri to finish with a winning record. A lot of Texas haters don't wasn't to admit this but the Big XII needs for Texas to be great again. The RRR needs to be a national rivalry again. The Big XII had the Heisman, Biletnikoff, and Ray Guy winners. Lastly there are 4 promising coaches in the Big XII. Besides Tom Herman, Matt Campbell, Lincoln Riley, and Matt Rhule, yes Matt Rhule, can be outstanding coaches especially Campbell. Keep an eye on this man.

But for me bowl season was a bummer. The little ten went 9/1, and even though the SEC went 5/6 they still had two teams playing for the title. I want nothing more than to see them, especially Jim Harbaugh fall on their ***.

As long as the Texas Longhorns make their way back into national prominence I'll be content.
