I would not drive from Austin, Houston or other areas to Dallas for vaccine. See link for local hubs across state. The governor is allocating 80% of the state vaccine to hubs across the state. There are hubs in every region.

Parkland is the only one that has appointments, I have been through most of those and am on every list there is

Austin just has Austin Public Health as a hub. If he gets an appointment out of town, I’d take it. APH got just 12k doses this week and have just gone through 4K as of today.

You can no longer make an appointment on the Parkland website. They announced yesterday that they have partnered with Dallas County Health, so their website directs you there. If anyone already has an appointment in the next few days, can you let us know if they are still honoring those that were already made.
