Excuse me if already posted

I'm sorry that the UNC wouldn't let him wait until after the game to step down. You know he didn't do bad there. But he's in his 70's now and I could see he's lost his passion.

Hopefully he and Sally can come back to Austin to stay.

Mack Brown was Texas 1st $1,000,000 dollar coach. From 2009- 2016 Mack was paid a minimum of $5 million.
When he took the job at NC, his last two years he made more there than he made his last years at Texas.
His buyout was between $2.7 amd $3.5 million from North Carolina.
Weap not for Coach Brown. He's set for life.

I loved Mack. He brought us Vince Young and a natty and if I recall correctly, something like 12+ players that all ended up starting in the NFL off the 2005 team. Then he did it again in 2009. Colt got hurt, dammit. Mack knew how to pitch a prospect. He ran out of gas when the rules and technology started getting ahead of him. Urban, Saban, Sweeney took advantage. Somewhere in there Burrows became a god.

i'll add that we knew when we woke up, we wouldn't have to defend anything mack or sally did or said. his son tried to errantly pick up a live ball once. about as bad as it got. 100% classy man, in persona and the few lucky times i met him. i hope he comes home, and we treat him right.

Ya. Dude never gave the finger to the camera. Never tweeked his nipples on national TV. Never tried to start a fight with another coach. Never snorted cocaine off a stripper (while his wife watched).
Mack Brown was so lame....

Snorted cocaine off a stripper why'd his wife watched? You saying Herman did that?

I can't remember the guys name but an assistant coach at Ohio St claimed he saw Herman do that while they coached together at Ohio St. Herman did something to piss that guy off and he threatened to spill the beans on Herman. Herman replied in a leaked text message to him that said "Ok, cool. Hook'em" and that is where that saying came from.

I think I remember this. There was a former Ohio State coach named Earl Bruce. Anyway he had a grandson who was an asst under Urban Meyer who was a Bruce disciple. Anyway this guy was a real scumbag. Michelle Herman came to support that coaches wife when she found out she was being beaten. Remember Herman was an asst under Meyer. This coach has a reputation for beating his wife Meyer was aware of this but did nothing about it. So when he finally got fired he tried to blame it on the Herman's.
