Man, they are awful. Just pitiful. I've never seen a team miss more open looks than Texas. It is almost comical
Bishop is doing the best he can. I don’t understand why Beard isn’t doubling him. He did the same thing against Timmie of Gonzaga never adjusted and got his ass kicked. Same thing happened tonight. He’s apparently too stubborn to adjust
You can’t double team all the time. You pick your spots to keep them guessing. We’re doing fine defensively. It’s scoring that’s the problem for us. If we make a few free throws and a couple buckets during that scoring draught then it’s a different game. We’re still in the game after a terrible offensive first half. Keep in mind that Purdue was ranked #1 for a good chunk of the season and is projected by some to be a championship contender this year. This is an outstanding team we’re going up against and we’re in this thing. We need to come out and get off to a good start in the 2nd half. Oh and Ramey is doing an outstanding job guarding Ivey. He’s held him without a single field goal in the first half. He’s going to to be more determined the 2nd half so we need to stay locked in defensively. And Timmy Allen needs to give us some offense. He disappeared in the first half.

Edey literally travels every time he puts the ball down for his standard one dribble. Its actually maddening he gets away with it.
We need to try going to a zone defense for the next few possessions. Takes away their post game but it leaves us vulnerable to open outside shots and offensive rebounds. Just have to hope they miss.
