Game of Thrones has returned for the final season

Alright @outhereincali I'm confused---

Everybody knows winter is coming. That means the white zombies are coming. Yet everybody is still fighting amongst themselves for the crown yet everybody that hears about white walkers say they don't exist. Even the people in the north and the dudes on the wall. So it's as if these zombies are a new happening, yet how can it be because everyone knows winter is coming.

See what I'm saying? If winter is coming why don't people know it and if they know it then why not unite and win instead of killing each other and diminishing their numbers.

Sorry to question all this I'm just trying to get my mind around the plot and I'm failing here.

Well I think everyone that is still around knows that there is definitely a night king. But they have to be divided and untrustworthy before the battle it adds to the drama. And it will probably take an unexpected turn that's what people want to see lol. Not this Sunday but next Sunday will be the battle the episode will be 82 minutes long.

Clob, they keep talking about how it's been the longest summer in ages. I think a lot of people, especially in the more Southern kingdoms have truly forgotten what winter is like.

It becomes clear in the most recent episode that some in the South don't think the threat, even knowing it's real, will ever make it far enough south to affect them.

I can't be the only one who doesn't get what the attraction is to game of thrones.

Seriously? You got zombies, Dragons, lots of sex with whores, brother on sister action, nephew on aunt action, and best of all, the main character is a midget.

How the hell is that not epic TV!!!

The Night King and his army of the dead don't show up every winter. It's been at least 1000 years, probably more, since it happened the last time. As far as I know it might not have happened since those carvings were made that Jon Snow showed to Queen Daenerys down in that cave where they mined all the dragon glass from.

I've been avoiding this thread until I was able to watch the new episode because I didn't want to read any spoilers. Now that I've seen it, if Cersei's plan is to let the white walkers kill all her enemies leaving her the uncontested Queen, then what does she plan to do about the white walkers when they come for her? Hope she can beat them on her own or would she rather see everyone fail rather than help her enemies.

Kill them all with her icy stare? If she's not a cold hearted b*tch in real life, then they should just retire the Emmy.

Normally I don't buy stupid stuff, but I had to own this one.

Episode 2 is in the books.

Spoiler from this point forward.

BEWARE

Lots of information came out in this episode. No action, but so many characters came together

1. Jon tells Deny who he really is, probably the biggest revelation is that he believed Bran and Tarley. It was also apparent that it is going to be left for up coming episodes how Deny will react to the news.

2. I didn't expect Sansa to react to Theon coming back the way she did, yes he saved her, but she seems to be much more cold and calculating then in the past.

3. Sansa and Deny's conversation was interesting, definitely one of mutual respect. I think Sansa's ending question of what about the North was strong and again Deny didn't answer.

4. My favorite meeting was Jerrot Mormont and Little Lady Mormont. She is fast becoming one of my favorite characters in the series. She is just a little badass who is not afraid to tell an adult what she thinks.

5. Best moment in the episode was Breane gettin knighted. The coming together of all those characters was pretty cool.

6. Thank God the directors didn't show us Aria getting her freak on. I've watched every episode of this series several times. Watching that would have been like watching my daughter having sex. Just something you should not see.

So Episode 3 is going to be the battle of the living and the dead, I'm curious to see this battle and the results. Mostly I am looking forward to seeing 4, 5, and 6.

You have to know that a lot of the characters we saw in this episode are going to die. My money is on the following deaths.

1. Podrick
2. Hound
3. Breane
4. Theon
5. Jerrot Mormont
6. Bran Stark
7. Jaime Lannister
8. Big red headed dude who suckles with Giant Women.

Love your thread You said everything I was going to post. In regards to number 5. GOT is not a show with touching scenes. But I was touched by Breane knighting she's always been one of my favorite characters.

As far as who's going to die in the battle. A lot of characters who we've grown to love are going to die next week. I disagree about Bran Stark. From tonight's episode we learned that he is the key to the battle. Well see how this shakes out.

And where was Cersei tonight? Hmmm.....

Btw next week's episode will be an hour and a half as will the remaining 3 episodes. Can't wait and I'll bet you can't either.

Maybe because I binge watched all this and haven't had the "drama + time" factor that many people have, I think I've got it figured out how all this ends. I say that because my friends that have watched it in real time over the last decade are emotionally invested in certain characters and are "rooting" for certain outcomes. But the 800 pound gorilla in the room that nobody has touched yet are the dragons. The snow zombies have one. Aquaman's widow has two--- but we ain't heard sh!t out of any of them. Cersei is going to catch a knife to the throat. Most likely from one of her brothers.

This ruined the episode for me. How hold is she? She has to be underage. I'm all in favor of Deny's gratuitous nudity every other episode, but now that she is queen, she's wearing a full length fur every episode, and they give us the 12 year old. DISTURBING!!!

My vote for most likely to go down next week (get your mind out of the gutter) -- Sir Breane - the knighting was her final farewell.

I'm tired of Jon Snow and Deny riding around on dragons together, and all the other feel good BS the first two episodes have given us. Bring on the big battle!

Are all of the seasons still on HBO on demand? Haven't watched any of it, but the wife is talking about wanting to start it and not sure where to go to get the first seasons?
Also, anybody wanna send me their HBO login?

What I've heard about Cersei is that it's her maester, Qyburn who poisons her with a drink. Makes sense one scumbag killing off another. I'm not worried about the dragons it's a large ensemble cast and last night was about them going off into battle. And with an epic battle coming up there'll be plenty of time for the dragons. What about Melisandre the red witch? Her character hasn't been killed off and I think we'll hear from her before this is over. The biggest take from last night is that Brann Stark is the key to the battle

Yes it's on demand. My family has binge watched this since February by going on HBO on demand. Have enjoyed every minute of it.

Actress Maisey Williams started this when she was 12, and now she is 22. That means she finished shooting this scene when she was about 20. In Story time supposidely it's been about 10 years as well. So the character would also be over 18 as well.

I have ditched cable and satellite for some time I use HBONOW.com It's well worth it and I get it off RUKU. However you can get HBO NOW on tablet App, online, and on most newer smart TVs. it cost about the same as Netflix.

Watch out for the head fake dude. That's one thing I noticed while watching these consecutively-- the writers are all about head fakes and slight of hand.

I think Cersei has Night Queen written all over her. He isn't going to kill her, he is going to turn her into his queen. Then he, her and his dragon fly back up north for another 1000 year where he and her bang around making babies.

No brother I did. I made it through pretty much all of season 1. They are some plotting scheming folks. I guess I just dig on historical entertainment. I freaking loved that movie "the other Boleyn girl" and I've seen all the times Helen mirren has played elizabeth--- but I guess I'm more drawn to that because of the true historical nature of it. But I can honestly say I gave GOT a chance.
Did you see Rome? I think the best mini series ever.

No I don't normally watch this sort of programming. I was shamed into watching this. They stripped me of my clothes and forced me to walk infront of a woman dressed as a flying nun who rang a bell to announce my shame and paraded me through the streets.

Believe it or not, there is a "shame" app - press the button, and the nun says shame and rings the bell. Its fun to go in a big crowd and hit the button. You find out pretty quick who watches GOT.

So here is what you do, go to a swimming pool or beach, wear nothing but your swim suit and a tablet around your neck. Then launch that app and walk around. See how many people talk to you.. Of course if you are truly bold you will lose the swim suit.
