I applied months ago and just got my acceptance email. I will have my orientation on September 7th. Despite some health issues, I'm fully confident I can handle whatever challenges await me. I'm a former small time college athlete who started to go back in gym (6'3* 200 lbs.) . I was in the heart of the shitshow that was the Wimberly Flood of 2015. I saw people pass away and saw my counterparts rescue lives. I'm not naive, I just want to make a difference before I leave this place. I pray that nobody needs this assistance, but I want to be there if they do.
I'm joining the Cajun Navy!!!
