Just a reminder to all Aggys

You really want to look back and see why you had success in the 80's? You really want to die on Jackie Sherrill hill?

You want to die on RC Slocum hill? You know you don't want to go there with me-- on either coach... one recruited me, and I have detailed, intimate knowledge of Jackie and his dealings.

Want to rethink this yet?
Yes, and every program has dirty going on one way or another. Don’t make it sound like Texas is as clean as it gets. Texas has its shades of gray. They all do. Some are just better at hiding it and the NCAA does a good job of protecting its blue blood programs.

Wrong again aggie dunce. You say blue bloods are protected? The scandals involving tOSU and SC in this decade say otherwise. Maybe we're not doing the things you think we're doing.

If Texas were paying, we wouldn't lose a recruit. We can buy and sell the aggys and $ooners 10X over with our alumni.

You hosed Nebraska in the Big 12 title game in 09 and shouldn't have even been in the championship game. Maybe this will be your year because you are reaching. You just wrote a laundry list of losses and excuses for them. Come on Scholz!

Why is Aggy repeating a Nebraska narrative?

The truth is that the SWC was superior in every way to the Big 8.
This is why OU pushed UT to create the Big XII.
The 35 years prior to 96 UT was smashing on OU and OU was beating Nebraska.

Nebraska couldn't hang with the Texas schools and the Oklahoma schools with Texas players.
They tried and 2009 and 2010 were their best teams they had in the Big XII.
They failed in 09. 1 second left.
In 2010 both UT and Aggy sent them off with their Big 8 pride to the B1G.

Getting back to the thread topic. I just saw the updates on the Urban Meyer situation. It appears he will keep his job. And apparently the ad is going to take the fall. And if this pans out the school president will go down as well. They say he could be suspended for the first four games and if so that. would include the TCU game. But guess who the fifth game is? Only the best team they will play this year PS. How convenient.

Also the Investigation people are talking to Courtney Smith today. She said she is eager to talk to them you can take that fwiw. This is the key to UM staying or leaving. Should know by the end of the week.

If y'all want to be big brother now you have to start acting like big bro

Until then you are little bro hanging off of Bevo.

You can't say UT is not a blueblood but they are one that the NCAA protected.
If the NCAA protected UT it means we are a lot more valuable than Aggy...

But....but....but.... F250's!

Anybody remember that sh!t?
It was their false narrative for a couple of reasons:

A) They can't admit to themselves that we're Texas and always will be. There was seriously no other explanation in their water heads as to why we can recruit well after a few down seasons. They can't admit we have a great university and athletic dept in a top tier city with hot girls.

B) This false narrative lets them rationalize away paying through the nose which THEY are doing now. Not us.

Hold up dog......

Every program has dirty going on one way or another---- <---- let's analyze this.

First you say "everybody cheats" so by proxy, you admit aggy cheats. Noted.

Some are just better at hiding it----- <----- So by that rationale, some aren't? Could you perhaps be referring to that one time, at band camp, when an aggy booster was building section 8 housing in Dallas and hired on a bunch of aggy players to come work the job sight who never in fact, left college station during the entire summer yet still made $50 an hour? Btw, you realize he paid them with HUD money, right? Housing and urban development money........ you know, federal fvcking funds? Your booster paid your players with MY tax dollars.

Let that fvcking sink in. Aggy was cheating using AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS.

So with all due respect (none of it earned) don't lecture me on who cheats, who doesn't cheat and the methodologies of said cheaters, if you're going to simply gloss over the fact that players on your team padded their wallets with OUR fvcking tax dollars.

My next door neighbor growing up played for the aggies back when Emory Ballard was the coach. He and his dad were angry when the news broke. They admitted that it could have been worse considering the charges. They said the booster in question was Warren Gilbert and according to them he's always been a loose cannon who doesn't even care what the coaches think. They just don't care and Jimbo will find out real quick what it's like to deal with them.

My Dad was an aggy's aggy....He proudly sent money to aTm every year.....until the day they hired Jackie Sherrill. That year he only sent them a letter explaining that winning football games was not a good enough reason to hire a scum bag and dragging what he thought was a wonderful University into the mud pit. He never watched another aggy game.

I knew Jackie's brother and he knew my Dad was a maroon blooded aggy so he was always giving me Cotton Bowl souvenirs and such. I gave them to my Dad and he instantly threw them away.

Dylan Wright said to tell you hello cml. Another head to head victory for Jimbo. Keep on spinning though!

He won't see the field until he's a junior. Jimbo's overly complicated route tree and lack of producing NFL WRs should be your clue.

They have always been into circle jerks

They created this narrative that they truly believe to be reality.

But......

They don't see the true facts that unless Jimbo recaptures their early SEC magic they will be in a worse place than before.

Reason for the 75 million. Desperation

I wonder if those idiots realize this is basically their last chance. This fails, then what? Kidnap Saban's grandchildren and blackmale him into that tick infested town?

I mean really, if the 75 million dollar man can't save them, who would recruits believe can?

Are you old enough to remember the SWC at the end? It was gawd awful. Arkansas bolted. That left heavyweights like Rice, Houston, SMU, Baylor & TCU. Tech was the 3rd most influential program by the end. SMU was on life support, TCU was dreadful, Grant Taft was gone from Baylor, and rice was rice. It was BAD at the end.

The BIG8 had better football, but the world's worst TV footprint. They could not survive with only Denver, St. Louis, & Kansas City being good TV markets. Nebraska & Colorado were better than anything in Texas at the time. They had some really bad programs too, I'll give you that.

No bueno. Tried opening it and it gave me Scooby-Doo on Txags Page.
Disrespecting Scooby like that....
Bwaaaahahahahahahahaha!!!!

There was so much battered aggy syndrome on display that the mods deleted it.

Fvcking epic!

That is some straight up delusional sunshine pumping right there....it does make for good conversation when they end up like they always do.....irrelevant.

Read that this morning.

Holy sociopathic delusions batman!

Irrelevant is such a subjective term.

They still do not see what Ole Miss and LSU fans have been crying about for years is the shocker.

If Myles Garrett would have been pulled down by his facemask in the Big XII against UT they would still be crying about biased refs.

Hiring Jimbo Fisher does not change the SEC hierarchy.
Bama will keep their foot on everyone's neck even with biased referees.

You better hope Jimbo makes you three TD better.

Even then they may have the NCAA investigate like what happened at Ole Miss.

Would you like to really analyze where your tax dollars are being spent? Trust me..that should be the least of your concerns about your tax dollars.

Dude..... for real?

You're just like "So what if we wasted your tax dollars on illegal benefits for players.....".

Do you hear yourself?

I was kind of making a joke since you were complaining about tax dollars. We all get on here and bash all Aggies for Sherrills decisions? I can promise you I never wrote a check or frankly they didn’t ask for my input. My only take is that college athletics are corrupt as they come. I honestly don’t know how ANY coach can monitor the dirty things that go on. Do most turn their heads if they do? Hell yes they do. If I found a Texas recruit or current player and offered them money or service, do you think they are turning it down? Some morally sound kids might, but your inner city athletes that don’t have much nor come from much aren’t batting an eye taking it. Would Herman know? Nope.
I will say this. I DO believe that programs that are or were in the shadows of other schools are schools that I believe might take a risk to go over the top to try and climb above a rival or if they are a great team don’t want to get passed by a rival shady things might happen. I do not approve of what Jackie did. I don’t think this current allocation will amount to squat.

"programs that ARE or STILL in the shadows of other schools"

I fixed your typo for you.....no need for a thank you aggy.
