Tom Hanks has been in so many great movies, it's kind of baffling. That said, so much of this is subjective. I remember watching You've Got Mail the week it opened and not liking it at all. My enjoyment of rom-coms, especially at the time, was tied so intrinsically to how attracted I was to the girl in the movie. And I did not find Meg Ryan very hot. She didn't come close to the infatuation I felt for Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson... Having said that, the rest of your list is a good one. But man I would have to put Apollo 13 at number 1. It's just such a fantastic movie, and I can rewatch it over and over. (BTW I've always felt Forrest Gump was a bit boring and overrated)

Regardless of what that cockamamie award says, VY was the best college football player in the country, in my mind the best I’ve ever seen, and it wasn’t really close. Everyone knows that. For someone to overtake VY they would have to be an alien too or win so many titles and awards that they can’t be denied.

VY had to deal with a coach and OC who didn't really want him. If he was playing today he would thrive. I don't believe for one second Cam Newton or Lamar Jackson are better than VY, but their NFL teams gave them more than that ficktard Fisher did. Or Norm Chow.

VY was rookie of the year. And yes, Fisher didn't do him ANY favors.

But I think even VY has come out and admitted that he didn't put the work in like he should have. I think he got by on his athelticism at first but NFL defenses will figure out your tendecies and if you're not in the film room putting in the work, they will definitely get your number.

Then you see a guy like Cousins who lives in the film room and approaches the position like a professional and he stays ahead of the game despite his athleticism.

nothing about what he has shown s so far as a college player suggests that he was anywhere close to producing that kind of season.

He needed to prove he could average 5 yards per carry this season and play injury free.

I just meant with the type of blocking that he would have had so far and moving on this season he would have had plenty of opportunities. Whether or not he limped all year I can’t call it

Sorry for the late reply, been out with total knee replacement. It was 45-0 at halftime, but the really bad thing happened to Wichita State was the plane crash the next week that killed half of the team.
