Ketch's 10 Thoughts From The Weekend (Texas tracks OSU down, still chasing UGA...)

You’re little diddy about not being a Cowboys fan anymore, but your still going to watch all their games reminds of a guy who says he’s going to quit drinking, but he is still going to regularly go to the bar with his friends.

And don’t you say this a few times every year?

Jerry has won! Jerry took a $142 million investment and rode the NFL wave to owning a franchise worth 10 Billion.

I think when Jerry is close to seeing his last sunset he will laugh out loud at his good fortune!! I am shocked Cowboy fans have continued to purchase his terrible product.

Nothing will change until Jerry world is empty on Sundays!!

SO glad you did a Michael McDonald list. Love him. You are pretty spot on with the list but I’d add to the Honorable Mention List, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. Granted the classic is Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, but McDonald does a great job on it.

Thanks Ketch.

I also agree that neither Sark nor Arch’s family want him to become a running qb. However, the question says “excluding sacks”, which translates to only 21 yards a game. That’s only a few scrambles per game. Plus, he’ll almost certainly run Arch more at the end of close games, in the red zone against really good teams, and every once in a while just to keep DBs honest.

I have come to feel the same way.
I have a Cowboys fan all my life.
But I am tired of the Jones.
Jerry said they were all in, hate to see how bad they would have been if they weren't.
That right there tells you all you need to know about the Cowboys management.
We need to let go of this belief that we have to be tortured by fandom because we've done it for so long.

That's a cycle of abuse.

Let there be Peace on Earth with Amy Grant, Vince Gill and Michael McDonald is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard- three great artists at their best accompanied by Chet Atkins one of the greatest guitarists of all time

Nice share!

This is the first time I have ever written this.

We shall see. You might be right.

Find ways to test, embrace and use AI to enhance your company.

I would have to think about it but the ability to harness it on OB would be fun. Ideas on how to use it should be part of your survey.

Do you think they want that?
I think they want him to maximize his gifts. If he's more like Archie then he's more like Archie. (One could do a lot worse. Archie was a great player)

Since you think the OL isn't going to be as good next season, what gives you optimism that this team can contend for a title besides Arch being better than Ewers?

They do not want him taking shots for sport.

Sell) More like $30 million ... or more.

Does that include the $20 million in revenue sharing?

@Ketchum Regarding Topic #10... wasn't there supposed to be an OB State of the Union post of sorts every month (or quarter)? Whatever happened to those?

The Greg Hardy deal did that to me. It's never been the same.
Few things:

1. If they never signed Hardy, you would feel different about the Cowboys?

2. Love Yacht Rock, but it’s a summer seasonal thing for me. But I live up north.

3. Random Taking it to the Streets live cover.

Great write up! Still not sure RT is the guy. Great to beat ags anytime though. I watched Staubach win and lose super bowls. I have loved the Cowboys but I feel the same. Tired of just rooting against teams I hate in the playoffs instead of rooting for the Cowboys.
