Are you taking over LMM’s role now? He slammed wasatch over the overrated comment and hasn’t been seen since. We lost 2 good guys, 3 if you count FBH.
No man. Even if asked I wouldn't do it. But I know Wasatch has to show up at some point and take a lap. We won't pound on him too hard. Hey, he made a bad call and it happens. Now he gets to own it and take a little ribbing and then we all move on.
I was at that game yesterday and was my first time watching North Shore in person since last year. That team has division 1 talent at every position on the field. Their quarterback is a pretty special athlete as well and headed to Virginia Tech next year.
Well not next year as he is only a junior but he IS committed to Virginia Tech.
Certainly an impressive win. Woulda been fun to have the two 5 stars on offense out there (JQJ and Evans) but you gotta play with who you got.

Pump the breaks now with North shore they had their starting qb who cares if they didn't have Evan's he has been a mess all year. If Dunc had their starting qb there would be no praise right now for north shore THAT is the difference.
Reverse what you said if Dunc would of won. Just like Denton Guyer lost their qb in the first quarter and ended up getting spank by Westlake.
Speaking of overrated, Allen and their coaching staff. Allen can't get by on talent alone anymore as they aren't near as deep. The coaching staff is bad (especially the DC) and that will continue to bear out. The next few years are going to be rough for the Eagles...…..
Well how do I find out how Bijan Robinson's team did in the playoffs? To heck with Zack Evans let's talk about the one who's going to play for us.
I think his team lost in state final. But had great playoff stats.

I would like to have seen the game with both Jackson and Evans playing. Duncanville was not what they were defensively last year but still solid. Last year Jackson was the best player on the field including Evans. Was shocked when Evans got sent home and did not even play in the game. The whole Nature vs Nurture argument has always interested me and there are elements of both in the development of any kid. Evans is on the wrong path and the people in his life certainly are not helping him. I am hoping that somehow the kid has an awakening and doesn't throw away what could be a really nice opportunity and potentially in time a career ..!!
I'm willing to wager that deep down ZE is a good kid. He's probably a great talent who has been idolized, and catered to for a long time. Maybe the best thing for the kid is to go somewhere where there are players equal to him in talent. But also a school where those players earned their spot in the starting lineup.

Its not a question about what he is capable of in terms of temperament and ability whether that be intellectual, emotional etc. Right now though there is no question that he is on the wrong path. If that doesn't change he will either not make it to the NFL or make it to the NFL with that bad attitude and all the parasites firmly attached to him. Neither of those offers a desirable future for him. The other option is that either through an intervention of some kind or some type of epiphany he comes to his senses and starts charting a better course in life.. I would like to see things work out for the kid but if he doesn't change he will simply be the latest version of rebel with out a clue..!!
Seeing Evans live, he runs every snap like hes being chased by wild dogs and he DOESNT like it when someone tackles him. He takes it personal. But he also runs people over. Hes an angry runner. But he needs to harness that anger and learn to control it.
Based on social media, it has always seemed like his brother was doing what he could to live in Zack's spotlight. I wouldn't be shocked if he has tried to financially benefit off his bro and probably hasn't helped his attitude.
I stated they are not near as deep as they used to be and that is fact. I've lived in Allen for 18 years and know a lot of the Talent coming up the next few years. The Talent is not near as deep as it was during the last 8 years and Allen isn't getting the "Transfers due to dad getting a new job" that they use to. Not to mention the changing demographics of families that don't play football, much less sports.
When you have 6000-7000 students 9-12 Im not gonna shed a tear. Great coaching with that kind of pool to work with should always yield a strong contender. There may not be a Kyler Murray to rely on but still.
I think its time to change the title of this thread to "Allen is overrated" lol.
Actually he was (you should watch some of his HS highlights if you haven't), not to mention the Talent on those Teams was insane. Kyler, Jaylen Guyton, Greg Little, Bobby Evans, Lee Morris, Jaylon Jones, etc. (the first 4 now in the NFL).
North Shore was missing two studs, Zach Evans and Shadrach Banks, and Duncanville was without their hoss, Jaquinden Jackson. Evans is a head case. I'm glad that he's not coming to Texas. Still no sign of Wasatch to catch a little ribbing. Bottom line is, "North Shore isn't overrated".

The Zack Evans saga continues. Was supposed to announce on ESPN at the UA all american game but pushed it back for some reason. The rumor on UGA boards is that even after signing with them, he was reaching out to schools offering his services.
I was at the game and would have loved to see Jackson play. Was really a close game until about halfway through the 4th quarter.
I agree. Jackson's injury cost them the game. If he had played, Duncanville would have won easily.
