Is anybody else going to address the fact that one of the Mississippi state players names is "Cumbest"?

God only listens to me when I hit my thumb with a hammer. Then, I'm the ass hole.Well we get 1 insurance run....I was hoping @clob94 had a little more drag with the Almighty....
And a pretty good left fielder. Not to mention, he can knock it out. He’s a tight end!
You'd think that the Almighty would favor the noble and virtuous Longhorns over this team full of jeeters....God only listens to me when I hit my thumb with a hammer. Then, I'm the ass hole.
Well this not looking good folks. We needed that run right there. Even if we stop them now, they have the pitching advantage the longer the game goes.
You trying to make Augie roll over in his grave? And by the way. I freaking HATE a sacrifice bunt with a runner on first. Approach should be to work the count and either find a count favorable to HnR or straight steal. I freaking hate it. My least favorite thing that normal and accepted in baseball.
I agree if you have one out already. But sacrificing a runner into scoring position with no outs is the same as a one out double. It’s all driven by advanced metrics. The metrics show that runners in scoring position with one out are more likely to score than a runner on first base with no outs. They just play the percentages. I don’t necessarily agree that it should dictate your managerial strategy all the time. And by the way. I freaking HATE a sacrifice bunt with a runner on first. LOL. I know he loved it. And there is a time for it. I like a more aggressive approach is all.You trying to make Augie roll over in his grave?
If MS had bunted more they would not have hit into a costly double play with men on base that derailed a possible great inning. I think part of it is that people don't commit to it like Augie did. They don't adequately practice it. It seemed like most teams that I saw both took too many pitches and were constantly looking for the big fly. Low percentage baseball. Just a casual observation. Congratulations on a great year. Your pitching and D especially were very impressive.
Next year we get almost everyone coming back. We lose Zubia at first and Antico at center. Two big bats we have to replace. Our ace is gone but our number 2 and 3 are coming back plus pretty much the whole bullpen. Future is still good for baseball.
It's hard to know until the draft happens.Anyone know Melendez's status for next year? We're losing quite a few key players. Still, the future looks very good for Texas baseball in the coming years.
Melendez is only a r-soph he hasn't seen the field yet, could they draft him just on his bat maybe but scouts want more. Just like Trey Faltine he is ready for the pros with his glove but his bat just isn't there yet.Anyone know Melendez's status for next year? We're losing quite a few key players.
