The pitching scares everyone. Stevens manned up last night and was very impressive. The whole pitching staff needs to nut up and pitch like they're capable of. This is why you play all year and put in all of that work to get to Omaha for a chance to win another natty!
My brothers said something to me this morning. Three of the teams are from the old swc it and that school north of the Red River is the fourth. I don't have an opinion one way or the other about ORS but you can bet I'll be pulling for them tonight they're playing an SEC team. Go beavers 😂
If we keep hitting like we have all season we've got a chance.
And if we score more runs then the other team they can't beat us.

And with the way we're hitting the ball if we can scratch out some pitching I like our chances.
I haven't followed TX baseball closely but I don't think we've had a power hitter like Ivan Melendez. I don't know if anyone can stop him.
We have talked about our pitching all year many of us were doubtful we wouldn't have made it to Omaha. Look at us now Tristan stepped up when we needed him and now this bullpen knows we are in Omaha. Let's finish this sh!+!

Hey guys, we're all on the same team here. Let's enjoy the moment and maybe we hit lightning in a bottle. Everyone here has at one point criticized the team for one thing or another during the season. Even 2300Nueces gave up mid-season and now is back on the wagon and welcomed with open arms. LMM was the one who I believe called "the game and season is over" during game 2, but we corrected him and he is in good graces with the team now. The list goes on and on, but we're going to Omaha. I believe we should be called "The University of Texas at Omaha".
Honestly, I didn’t think we had a chance in hell of making it to Omaha, but they proved me wrong. I’m just saying tap the brakes on getting too excited. Sure we’ve had teams come from nowhere and do great things, but those were strong pitching teams. I just don’t believe strong hitting is as reliable as strong pitching. Here’s hoping they keep proving me wrong. Hook’em!
We caught a break with ND beating Tennessee. Our pool in the CWS isn’t too daunting.
Well Beavers lost....4 teams from the sec glad Tennessee got beat. So if us and blowu were in the sec already it would be 6 out of 8
What's crazy is that the CWS is made up of basically six out of eight SEC teams (Texas and OU immanently joining the conference). I'm not crazy about that many teams from the same conference, but it is what it is.
They turned it around when they needed they were a disappointment along with Mississippi State this season.
Could of been 7 out 8 if Tennessee would of won....not a big fan of two sec tournaments a year.....
We will be in the SEC 2023 if you haven't followed the threads. Ucf, Houston and Cincy will be in the Big XII July 2023

Now this is funny! Everyone wanted to see Tennessee lose and not make it to Omaha. Their coach, players and fans are the cockiest bunch that college baseball has seen in some time. They're home on the couch now. 🤣
Baseball rankings are not very reliable. So much depends on pitching and the team with the best pitching will win the cws. So, which team has the best pitching staff?
Looks like we have the 4th best team ERA of the 8 teams left. ND, Stanford, and Arkansas are ahead of us.

Three have been all sorts of predictions on this. I hear '23 then I hear '24. I hear there may be a 14 team conference in '23. I'm just going to watch and see how this plays out.
