Guess we head to Fayetteville to play two and go home...........
Went to the first game against KU yesterday. Crowd was dead. Maybe 1000 in the seats!? A lot of them looked more like scouts (we sat behind home plate). No energy from the players. You could tell Texas was going through the motions. O’Dowd came to life but he was the only one. More of the same today. Looked liked they just wanted to go home. Pierce better give ‘em the Auggie speech or this team won’t make it out of regionals. I doubt they host after laying those two turds.
News Flash…..Pierce has been fired twice and given 2 extensions all in 1 year.
If aggys win Sunday, it may be them hosting and us going there and being a lower seed. A victory in collieville would be sweet, but we better get on the ball! 🤘
Our girls decided to crap the bed and looked the guys on Friday with leaving to many on base and out hitting Tennessee....and Saturday they just looked flat like our guys did against K state in the big 12 tourney.....the guys can hope for the best with seeding, but won't make it to Omaha.

8 of the 16 regional host sites are from the SEC okie lite is the only host site for the big 12
That reminds me of something that TX fans need to know. The SEC is also the strongest baseball conference in the country.
This year marks the first time since 2013 -- and second time since the tournament went to its current format in 1999 -- that no team from the state of Texas will host.
Pathetic.
I remember the owner of the Bandidos and Rattlers select baseball teams (both from Houston) telling me that select ball in the state of Texas would guarantee we were playing the best ball in the country.

My son played on a Nationally Ranked select team out of Hou. One of our kids committed to Rice as a Freshman, a soph to TT more will probably sign as well. Lot of Freshman starting V for 6A teams that went deep in this years playoffs.
We hated playing tue Banditos because you could bet they would fill there roster w Fly in kids. So you beat them w small ball as the kids that age don't have the maturity to play there position.
And I will agree to a certain extent. The best teams we played were from South Florida and Cali.
Houston will host Super NITs which will bring the nation's best to your door step.
A lot of "select" kids that don't wind up making their HS teams.

Gordon pitched a beauty of a game today. Also that catch EK and Dylan Campbell made were so damn good and both saved runs.
LHN has a baseball time slot that says "new" at 11 am, but no new at 5 pm. Texas Sports says ESPNU.
