I remember the year we went to the Final Four. We lost in the semi to Syracuse who went on to win it all. Carmelo Anthony was their star remember that?
That was the year the Big XII was a solid conference. The OK schools, TX, and KS all made the Sweet 16. In order Syracuse beat OSU, OK, TX, then beat KS for the title. And it was the same this year only this time it was Villanova. Starting with the Sweet 16 they beat WV, TT, and KS. Then they beat MI last night for the title. But in all four games the Wildcats were too strong for the competition. It's been a long time since I've seen someone dominate the tournament like Villanova did this year.
