Miller from the top rope:
Texas has landed its second transfer portal commitment under Sean Miller, securing Purdue forward Cam Heide. Heide averaged 4.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game this past season for the Boilermakers.

Heide is an off-ball player who can make defenses pay if they aren’t paying attention to detail. With a 2.8 OBPM rating and a 2.1 DBPM rating, Heide proved he wasn't a liability on either end of the floor. While his numbers may not jump out at first glance, Texas needs an efficient catch-and-shoot player who can keep defenses honest away from the ball handler. Overall, I believe Heide has the potential to develop into a valuable asset in Austin, as he showed flashes of his ability at Purdue.

A renewed interest?
Texas has reached out to 2025 four-star point guard former Nyk Lewis. Lewis committed to Sean Millers Musketeers on November 13 and decommitted from the Musketeers on March 28.

Nyk Lewis has strong ties to Sean Miller, having committed to him back in 2023. The 6'2" guard from Washington, DC, possesses raw talent that could become something impactful for Texas under Miller's developmental coaching. His touch around the rim is excellent, and his quick first step allows him to blow by defenders with ease. Lewis would be a great fit for Miller's up-tempo style of play, as he thrives in transition. While Texas seems like a natural landing spot, Lewis is also drawing interest from other schools like VCU, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Iowa, and Seton Hall.

Something brewing in Fort Worth?
High Point seven-footer Juslin Bodo Bodo is taking a visit to TCU in the future. Bodo averaged 5.3 PPG, 8.4 RPG & 1.4 BPG while Shooting 64% from the field, he started 71 games for the Panthers over the last two years.

Texas has reached out to Bodo and shown interest in the sophomore center from Cameroon, making his upcoming visit to TCU something worth monitoring closely. The Longhorns need additional help in the frontcourt, and Bodo would be a significant addition. Known for his impressive rim protection, he still has two years of eligibility remaining, making him a valuable prospect for Texas. If the Longhorns can secure his commitment, Bodo could become a key piece in strengthening their defense moving forward.
