But Muhammad’s composite on 247 sports has him as the 43rd ranked overall prospect of the 2023 class. He’s a really nice player though.
At the announcement today, he was labeled #30 in top 300. Nonetheless a great get.

Um, I’m quoting his direct quote not manipulating it and giving him a backhanded compliment. Nice player but hardly the best in the nation lol. That has a way of backfiring on a player. Perhaps he could have said he’s the best player from his school or from his county, probably be more accurate lol
Nothing wrong with a little confidence. He's a really good player and by the end of this season he could end up in the top 25 and add a 5th star.
I agree, we should not take him. We can only take 20 something players each year and he is ranked in the 30s. We need to focus more on the top 25 players. We already have the #1 recruit, so a clean sweep of #2 thru #25 should be our goal.
Well, now, Manning certainly has the name but not many folks believe he’s anywhere near the best qb in his class much less the No. 1 overall player so we’ll agree to disagree on that one lol
I didn't make the rankings, just stating what the consensus is between all the expert analysts so I guess we'll have to go with that.

Yes. Every scholarship OL will get 50k whilst enrolled. They don’t get money until they enroll. It was a trust set up by some boosters.

If he does end up committing it will be a pretty wild deal. He didn’t even have us in his top 5 and never visited. Can’t say I have seen anything quite like it to be honest.
Pretty sure he’s one of the guys that reached out to Texas after Arch committed. The OL NIL has been known for quite a while, yet he didn’t reach out after hearing about that. Nice try.

Yes...but Texas has more to offer than most. Good wants to play with good so that is a good situation to be in, but let's not act like he got offered more somewhere else and wanted to play with Arch instead. It's a good get no matter how you slice it. It's the time of the NIL so we all don't need to act like deals aren't about money these days. Congrats however he was lured there.
No one here is claiming that NIL isn't playing a big part in Texas' class. The only fans and coach who get butt hurt about NIL are aggys. The ridiculous class that a&m signed last year was hugely a result of NIL. Why does that bother a&m fans and Fisher when people state that fact?
