I think Texas is still in on some pretty elite players, but I do agree LB and stacking those offensive and defensive lines is a priority.
I think Derion Gulliette momentum is trending A&M's way at the moment as well as TJ Shannahan. Sark will get those skill players and is doing good at the oline, but he has GOT to get the D-Line and LB crew going. I know that is preaching to the choir.
Bell...also hearing Hicks is not making the trip to A&M this weekend and still at OU. That could be a big deal for you guys. Still hoping for the best there, but I was hoping he would drive in later.

I don’t think Shamahan is a high need. We have guards galore. Need tackles. Doesn’t mean he isn’t legit
Braylon Shelby or Gullette. Miss on both and it’s transfer portal again. DL class LY and what we should sign this year is better than it’s been in 12 years.
LB though is a damn travesty.
I’m hearing Venables got 3 silent commits this weekend If I had to guess I’d speculate Hicks and Vickers are 2 of them. Could be wrong though
I could see Vasek and David Stone, but I don't think Hicks is there yet. I truly think he is taking that one to the end. He isn't committing until the Under Armour game...at least as of now. I think he will be visiting both campuses a bit this fall to watch games. He has been to A&M so many times this summer that I'm not overly concerned...but I would have rather had him at A&M obviously.
Are you guys here at Texas pretty confident on Cedric Baxter?? I haven't got to find much info on him as some others. I was hoping for him, but I'm not hearing much from that.
I feel Dalton Brooks and TJ Shannahan will be Ags before the next few days. OU and Texas are both kicking ass and I feel like A&M will still end up top 10.
Hopefully, he can help A&M win a conference championship. It's been since 1998. Come to think of it, that 100 year anniversary is coming up. I bet they put out a commemorative cup for that one. We still have Lefau and Burrell committed. They are no Anthony Hill but they are still highly rated 4 stars. That front 4 dictates a lot of LB play in my opinion. You give me a disruptive front 4 and plug in some decent LBs and we will be alright. We are very thin at that position right now though.

I think Gulliette ends up an Ag. It's starting to trend that way in a hurry. He is supposed to be in College Station tomorrow morning, but I like A&M's chances there WAY better than I did a couple of weeks ago.

PK ain't going to make it through this season. He hasn't recruited the DL and LB positions very well. Quite poorly actually. He better coach our guys up if he wants to have any chance of sticking around after this season.
Good pickup if he sticks with his commitment. Aggies will continue to have the recruiting and NIL edge until we join the SEC. Guys like Hill and Hicks don't want to wait 2 full seasons before competing with SEC schools. However, all of these recruits will need to be on flip watch until they actually sign in December. Still a lot could happen - Aggies could go under NCAA investigation or UT could flop their way to another 5-7 season. Just have to wait until everything is official.

Tapp, Finkley, Bledsoe, Ross, Brown and Swanson were all 4 star defensive lineman from last years class. Last years class was really good. Why does everyone think we have to have 5 stars or bust?

You still got to play the game the right way and build the right culture. It's going to be very interesting to watch how schools try to control these highly paid 18 year old kids. It's already happening at USC where some recruits are whining about the terms changing on the financial commitments that were made. It's bound to happen at a lot more places than USC. We shall see.
