Yes. He gets a guaranteed 50k as do all other OL when they enroll and play football at Texas. His hypothetical NIL possibilities are probably pretty high too.
I don’t know what’s worse. The state of college football as the wild Wild West or fans thinking every single croot that didn’t go where they thought said croot should go is getting $10M.
I hope we can get these monsters in gear and steamroll these punks in the B12.

Great article about Payton Kirkland’s commitment. The Arch effect is real and seems like recruits really want to play with the kid. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I wonder if VY had the same effect in his class as the #1 recruit out of HS.

That's the 2 they are talking about. If we land those 2 then we likely end up with a top 3 class when it's all said and done. We need Hill more than we need Toviano in my opinion.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Toviano was down to A&M and Michigan. I would still be MILDLY shocked if Hill went to Texas. BUT, I was 80-20 A&M sure a couple of months ago knowing the family, but now I'm more like 60-40 A&M. Would Gullete(sp?) be one they are talking about?
I have no clue honestly. I don’t follow that close. The difference between the DBs Texas and the Aggies have committed is negligible
size and length in the OL and DL is what I’m more concerned about and Sark and company have been a much needed improvement over other staffs going back to late Mack
And another thing. When high profile guys start committing you know they’re in the ear of other high profile dudes. They know them from camps and as opponents. Momentum is key
Toviano hasn’t made a final list yet. As for Hill it seems to be 50-50 between A&M and Texas for that one.

Looks like OU recruiting has picked up. They should be firmly in the top 7/8 when all is said and done.

If anybody is a fan of the "The Office", one of the funnier things I remember is Andy telling Dwight, "You are the deuce, I never want to drop". Like Dwight, Arch is the deuce we never want to drop
If you go by their average composite score they are around 15th right now. Some of the teams below them right now have a higher average but have less recruits so it's dragging them down a bit.
I will be curious where everyone ends up for these barbeques/pool parties. Hill got a prediction to A&M today from a site and will be in College Station tomorrow. Malachi Nelson and his dad are in College Station today. David Hicks I believe is at OU. Toviano is at LSU. Gulliette is in College Station and Jalen Hale was in College Station yesterday when A&M was left out of his top 3??. Is the Texas pool party tomorrow?? This will be an interesting cycle for sure.
A lot of folks were assuming Venables couldn’t keep up in recruiting. Last year he had the rug ripped out from underneath him as he took over OU. OU recruiting class after the decommits etc was ranked in the 30’s, in 2 months time, it topped out at 8 thanks to Venables. OU will finish higher than 8th this year, Venables hitting it out of the park on both sides of the ball unlike his predecessor. The D recruits are starting to fall into place now.
Ha I’d be willing to bet OU’s NIL foot print per player is considerably lower than that the teams at the top right now. I say right now because I think OU will be up at the top before this recruiting class is over
I've got an update on the pool party...
