*****Texas vs Kansas Game Thread*****

Well after the Sugar Bowl victory last year the team seemed like it had turned a corner. I knew coming into the season the defense was gonna be young and inexperienced: I’m gonna wait to see how the season plays out before I give up on Herman just yet.

the ga win was fools gold. no way texas wins that if ga is into that game. they kill texas 8 out of 10 times, maybe 9. texas isn't baaaaacccckk. herman isn't the real deal. we screwed up again. go watch lsu. watch how hard those kids play, how determined. like their damn life depends on it.

texas just turned a ku receiver loose on a 2pt conversion and will possibly lose the game because they are really bad a football. it doesnt' appear to mean all that much. that is damn hard to understand but there is no other way to interpret their lack of effort and preparation. bad coaching, bad play, uninspired. BAD FOOTBALL.

This playing up or down to our competitors level is indicative of leadership. I've never seen such a sad excuse for a football team.

As you guys know, I was a big supporter of the Herman hire. I was wrong. This hire has set back Texas football years. The next hire has to be a home run! Herman has GOT to go!

We didn't deserve to win...but sometimes you gotta take the W anyway you can get it.

Completely expected to drop 50 on kansas.
Dropped 50 and I'm utterly stunned with disappointment.

There's the problem. Let's pose for fvcking photos with the other team and suck each other's cocks after the game and be all buddy buddy and sh!t.

Fvck that noise. You play on the other team then I fvcking hate you. I don't want to shake your hand and tickle your balls after the game. I want to sh!t in your helmet and then go fvck your girlfriend and mail the Polaroids to you. We are a bunch of soft candy asses. We have no disdain.

I'm spending all day tomorrow eating bean burritos. Nothing else. I'm driving to Austin on Monday and walking into the locker room and I'm going to systematically sh!t in every toilet in the locker room and not flush.
I am hoping there isn't an easterly wind. Something tells me that an angry clob flatulence would make its way all the way to El Paso.

We won the game, I'm watching the replays, and I'm even more incensed than I was when the plays were live.

my bad. injuries. that's all we all really need to know. texas is good. just need to get healthy and watch out bama.

yes,not jumping ship,Texas had 8 to 9 sophs and freshman on defense and even had to put in a walk-on db at the end.But I think we will have a rough season and be lucky to get to any bowl this year.

That isn't acceptable to 99% of Texas fans. Herman didn't work. Time to look for a new coach.

Injuries on D are really starting to take their toll but this was just bad tonight. We didn't look like we were in position to make plays because we didn't know what they were going to do tonight. Maybe its because guys are hurt and the backups didn't get the reps they needed, maybe its because the new OC changed some things that we weren't expecting, maybe the scheme is too complicated and it needs to be simplified so guys can get in position to make plays. Most of that is on Orlando and he needs to fix it or GTFO

One thing is 100% on Herman is the mistakes. Too many missed tackles, too many penalties. Attention to detail just isn't there.

That’s a bit knee jerk. Herman is a good coach of a team lacking depth. You sprinkle in injuries and it’s a recipe for a tough fought season.

I haven't given up on Herman, but, it isn't too knee jerk. Herman repeatedly goes for it on 4th down. If we had a Rileyesque offensive coordinator that can choose the best play based on what the defense gives him, then there wouldn't be so much complaining. But, we have an OC that doesn't consider what the defense is doing and forces what seems to me to be a random thought of a play. Herman doesn't have a good enough offense and defense to blow off field position decisions. Herman deserves every bit of heat he gets.
