We had player availabilities earlier this evening, and one note specifically caught my attention.
Kelvin Banks was asked about Colton Vasek and his growth, he said: "During the scrimmage, I went against him the whole time. He's grown leaps and bounds from his freshman year. He came in and put the work in, and has been balling since he came back from injury."
Upon making that note, I thought.. well that's odd because I would assume in a scrimmage that the first-team defense wouldn't be working against the 3rd team defense the whole time. So I asked @Alex Dunlap a few minutes later on tonight's FWF Show over on YouTube, and Alex's first thoughts were just that, it didn't make sense. We can't confirm, other than what Banks told us. But we do have an idea that Colton Vasek may have made a move over the last week of practice, and is now working in with Ethan Burke as the 2nd team SDE.
