Something else to consider about this Bama/Texas game, it’s as much a recruiting trip for Saban as anything. He’d love nothing more than to win one in Austin.

What's weird is the BBC is chastising US Networks for not covering the Queen's death announcement enough. CNN was the winner with the most coverage.
This game is a huge game for Texas. Getting blown out here is not good. A good showing can create some hope. You can't have a 5-7 season with a loss to Kansas and then get wiped by Bama to start this one. If Texas plays well and especially if Ewers can play really well can go a long way to not only this recruiting classes but for the next several years.
Texas currently has the #3 ranked recruiting class. I hope that the Horns can keep the game close and respectable. We've still got a ways to go to build the roster with quality starters and depth.
I think that Alabama is going to mudhole a&m on 10/8. Jimbo shouldn't have tugged on Superman's cape. Superman is going to do his talking on the field to shut Jimbo up and avenge the fluke win by aggy last year.

This. All my aggie buddies are acting like Texas has zero chance to win. How soon they forget that no one gave aggie any chance to win last year either. It’s not like aggie was a great team last year. They beat bama with a crappy 3* that also couldn’t beat ole miss, Arkansas, miss st, or LSU.
I think Sark will have his team fired up. I don’t think Texas wins, but they have a chance.
